CHAPTER 11

The group finally landed a little outside of the village. An old man appears and greets them.
“Dragon Warriors, I’m so honored you all came.”
Leona steps in to act as representative.
“We are glad to be here. Please, tell us what happened? No message can pass from here, just this one you sent that you needed help one month ago.”
“I know sir. It’s been hell. It seems someone is taking down our messengers and birds, for God’s sake. Some people came to help but we never saw them again.”
“I see. That’s what we are here to investigate.”
“Please, follow me into the village” and the man leads the way.
The village looked empty. It seems there’s no life or joy. The villagers are creeping through their windows, being afraid to come out.
“What happened here?” she ask
