One of the great things about living with someone is that you can use little snippets of time, over the course of a day or a week, to have complicated conversations that might otherwise be put off. I mean, if you suspect it’s going to take an hour or more to really get to the bottom of something, and you don’t live with the person you need to talk to, you end up pushing that conversation to a weekend. Then, since you don’t live together, basically an entire evening goes to the conversation. So if the next weekend is already allocated to some social activity, as it generally is if you’re dating, the conversation might get pushed to the next weekend.
