Chapter 5

628 Words
Two weeks later. "Want ice-cream?" "You know me well enough." I laugh as Louis holds open the door to the ice-cream shop. I sit at a table while he goes to order. I still felt incredibly guilty for letting Colten kiss me that night. Louis comes back with an Oreo-cookie ice-cream and a red tulip. "What's with the flower?" I beam. He sets my ice-cream down and kneels down in front of me. "Red tulips mean never-ending love. Happy 3 months baby." He says before kissing me sweetly. A few people sitting at the counter awe. Now I feel really feel like a terrible girlfriend. "I forgot." I mumble, blushing sheepishly. "You're a gift in itself." He says, sliding into his seat. My heart sank. I eat my ice-cream quietly. Once I am done, he takes my hand, and we continue walking until we hit a park. I lean against a tree, tired from the walk. "Ariana." He catches my attention. I look up, and he’s getting closer and closer. "I love you." He says before kissing me.. I kiss him back, but I couldn’t help but compare it to my kiss with Colten a few weeks ago. There was no spark. But Louis is the kind of guy that if you tell him that there's no spark, he'll light fireworks. Geeky but adorable. And now what Colten says is true. I don't want Louis anymore. He pulls away and studies me. "Is something wrong?" Yes. I want you to pull me into you so every inch of our bodies are touching each other's like Colten did. I want fireworks like when Colten kissed me. I want you to kiss me when I'm talking like he did and make it amazing. I want everything Colten did that night. I want that night to happen all over again. And I hate myself for feeling this way. "No." I shake my head. "Okay." He says. He leans in to kiss me again and I poke my chin out and close my eyes. He presses his lips to my forehead. Really? "Are you sure because you didn't say you loved me. You do love me don't you?" He asks, hurt in his eyes. Sadly I want to say I love him, but I know I want Colten no matter what I say or convince myself to do. "I love you." I say. looking at the ground. He smiles and picks me up, twirling me. I squeal. "Let's get you home." He says taking my hand. Colten’s POV If she won't end it with Louis fine, I will. They walk in, and Ariana was holding a tulip. Well… looks like undying love is about to perish. I clench my fists. "What?" Ariana spits as she looks at me. My eyes turn gold and her eyes widen. Was she scared I'd kill Louis? Please, he's so not worth it. "Whoa bro, are your eyes gold?" Louis asks. "No they're brown." I say, blinking so the gold could go away. I hope it did. "They were just gold. Didn't you see it babe?" He asks Ariana. He looks at her but her eyes are glued on me. I bareback my teeth and I'm sure I had fangs. Ariana quickly walks up and slaps me. I snap out of my rage. She must have done that to snap me back. "What the hell?!" I ask. "You- um, just. Bye Louis." She says running upstairs. Louis looks at me and forces a smile. "Louis Vacetto." "I know who you are." I wave him off. He leaves and I run upstairs. I needed to do two things: 1) Get Ariana to fall for me 2) Break up Louis and Ariana
