At one point, we've all had a babysitter.

Well, once my mother is hired at the bad boy's house as a babysitter for his sister, my life is screwed.

Now Colten has to put up with me, my mother, and our life altogether.

The only thing that sucks?

Colten is the most annoying, arrogant, and inconsiderate jackass that I've ever met. Between harassing me about sharing a bed and making fun of me for being such a nerd, he's doing the unthinkable.

He's trying to break me and Louis up.

Little did I know that this peice of ass said I'm his mate.

Chapter 1
"I am not going, and there’s nothing you can do to make me." I cross my arms, flopping onto the nearest loveseat in my living room. I do not care how close of friends my mom is with this lady. I also don’t care how much she’s offering to pay me. There is no amount of money in the world that could make up for being an in-home babysitter for this family. Not that my mother seemed to care, but they’re also complete strangers to me. What if this family was full of serial killers? Sorry mom, I don’t really feel like rooming with Freddy or Jason anytime soon... "Ariana! I'm not letting you stay home without me! Now pack your things!" My mother yells at me. I sigh and toss a duffle bag on my bed. I grab numerous clothing items and stuff them in the bag. I throw my blonde hair up in a bun. This is going to be a hell of a summer. * * * We pull up to a house. My jaw drops. This house is amazing! I’ve never seen a house so extravagant. I jump out of my truck and walk up the stoned pathway across the grass. "Mom are you kidding me? They live here!?" I gasp. I knew they were rich but not this rich. "Sarah! So nice to see you." A woman dressed in a dark pantsuit, pearls, and a neat bun greets my mom. They hug like they haven’t seen each other in years, when in fact I know my mom sees her at least every other week. "Oh and you must me Ariana! I'm Bree Evans." Bree smiles at me. She’s been my mom’s best friend for as long as I remember, but with her being so successful, I rarely saw her. I nod and grab my hair tie from my messy bun and yank it down. I ruffle it a bit and yawn. It was 7:30 in the morning, aka too early for formalities. "Oh Colten's inside just tell him to show you the bedroom you'll be in." Bree told me. Wait a minute… She couldn't mean Colten Evans... I entered the house with caution. If I’m right and this is Colten Evans… the thought of Colten and I under the same roof scares me. I'm sure he doesn't even know I exist. "Ariana? What are you doing here?" Colten asked looking up from the carton of juice he was chugging. Okay maybe he does know my name? But let me just process the thought of you’ve got to be kidding me. Meet Colten Evans, high school bad boy. He’s easily irresistible with jet black hair and light blue eyes, resembling nothing like his mother. "Um my mom's your babysitter." "Correction, my sister's babysitter." He smirks. I cannot believe I have to spend my summer with this guy! He is as cocky and arrogant as everyone pins him to be. He slips out of his leather jacket. Another thing he thinks makes him a ‘bad boy’ I suppose. I scoff. "What?" He asks. "Nothing." I say quickly. "What is it?" He snaps. "Why do you act like you’re so bad? It's stupid." I roll my eyes. "You know Ariana, being quote- 'bad'- is not my intention. But if I come off that way it's your problem." He says before exiting. "Colten!" I yell. He slips back into the room, annoyance taking over his features. "Your mom told me that you'd know where I'd be sleeping." I say playing with my hands. I'd totally be avoiding him all summer. He motions for me to follow him. I do as told and follow him up the stairs. I admire the paintings and the pictures aligning the wall. He opened a door to reveal a dark blue painted room. It had a plush carpet that was a lighter blue. There was a desk to the right wall and a bed and nightstand to the left. Books were scattered across the desk and a book on -what looks like 'Loup-Garou Legends'- on the nightstand. He grabs the book and puts it behind his back. I ignore him and turn, setting my bag down under the wall light switch. "Thanks." I mumble. I felt breathing on my neck. "Being bad isn't that terrible babe." He whispers against my neck before leaving me on my own. Well that was… creepy. Anyways I'm tired. I lay on the bed and snuggle up with the comforter. It smelt good, almost like a scent.
