I got up around 12. Well I was woken up. I sit up straight, alarmed. "Didn't mean to wake you." Colten says grabbing a few books off the desk. "It’s fine." I say, clearly annoyed, and ruffle my hair. I quickly throw it up in a ponytail before he realizes I probably have bed head. "Is that Thirteen Reasons Why?" I ask, recognizing my favorite book. "Only a nerd would know that." He smirks at me. "I'm not a nerd!" I huff, crossing my arms. "Who wrote the Twilight Series?" "Stephenie Meyer." I reply instantly. "Book nerd." He laughs. "Hey you're the one reading it!" "Yes, but I'm not denying I am a nerd. But you are, therefore you are a bigger one." "Shut up Colten." I roll my eyes. "Ariana!" My mom calls. I jump out of bed and run downstairs. "Yeah mom?" "Find everything okay honey?" She asks carrying a baby in her arms. Probably carrying Colten's sister, Lily. "So you're okay with the sleeping arrangements?" She says c*****g an eyebrow. "Huh?" "You and Colten?" "Me and Colten?!" I screech. "Yeah hun didn't he tell you? They only have 3 rooms and I have Bree's. Colten's the only one with a bed big enough for two." "You're serious?" I laugh. This has to be a joke. She nods. "Mom! You won't even let me stay out past 11 let alone sleep with a guy!" I yell. "Now Ariana, I know you. You won't sleep with Colten." She laughs. "Not finding what's so hilarious!" I cross my arms. "You. You're probably just going to kick him out anyway!" "The hell I am!" I yell. "Ariana! Language! They remember this stuff!" She say, covering the Lily’s ears. "Yeah mom totally." I say sarcastically, going upstairs. I walk into Colten's room, and he was on the bed reading. I slam the door. He looks up. "I see you heard of our sleeping arrangements." "How you have a house like a hotel and 3 rooms I have no freaking idea!" I yell throwing my arms up. “Well usually when we have house-guests we put them up in a hotel. We can’t give up our theatre room… or the gym, or the walk-in closets, or the-” “You’re rich, I get it.” I snap. "Looks like you're bunking with me nerd." He winks. "You're impossible." I roll my eyes. "Hey aren't you dating that Louis guy?" He laughs. I narrow my eyes. "Yes. And he's really sweet for your information." "I don't need information on him." He rolls his eyes. "You're not as much of a bad boy as you give yourself off to be." I state, leaning against the door. I knew I'd break this kid's barrier eventually. "You're actually taking an interest in me?” he scoffs, “No. I don't like people getting in my business. All you need to know is my name. Now why don't you prance on over to your perfect little boyfriend leave me alone." He growls.
