Kira's phone vibrated violently and then it rang out loud. She groaned after being woke up by the thing that still is in a frenzy right now. She picked it up and saw it was still 3 a.m. Answering the call from her mother, she held the phone close to her ear. "Hello." She croaked. "Goodness Kira! Where the hell are you? Our flight will be in 3 hours!!" Her mother's angry voice boomed on the speakers. All of her blood drained to her feet. She was in a big trouble for sure. How could she forgot that this day was the time that they need to go back to her mother's country. Her father is long dead and now her mother wants to be back to where she truly belong and just start a business for living there. "I'll be there mother. Just did a few shots to release stress." She reason out. "Ok sweetie. Don't be late. I warn you Kira." Her mother was surely commanding. "Yes mother. I will." She ended the call and sighed. Then she remembered Vin. And thought about last night.  Looking at Vin's well sculpted back, she never regretted what she had done. "Well, at least it was a consolation I gave last night. A memory to remember in this country." She murmured. Standing to pick up her belongings, she felt a prickle on her lower body. Slowly, she walked towards the door of his room; still naked. After such, she found her garments and her clutch bag near the door in the living room of the space. Dressing up hurriedly, she put on everything in order such as her hair and crumpled clothing. She swept one last glance on the area and left. Upon reaching the elevator, she then pressed the G button and minutes later she was already outside hailing a cab. As the cab left the place, she closed her eyes and remembered Vin. It was a hot encounter with him and for sure she will not find something alike it in her whole life. Tears started to roll on her cheek. She can't deny it to herself that she loved him the moment her eyes landed on him. A bittersweet parting ways. He will surely find someone again. But she doubt herself if she can. But she needs to move forward in life. Her family needs her. But as she goes forward, she knows that there will be a missing piece of her. Her heart. 4:37, early dawn. She was already at their rented house. Thankfully she had packed her baggage the night ago and it was now all ready. The only thing left was the pairs she needs to wear. Hurriedly, she went inside the bathroom to have a fast shower and did a fast makeup and hairdo and off they go. Her mother drove the car to the direction of the airport. Her mother already sold the car and it will be picked up before they board the plane. The airport was full of people going to and fro. So busy that in a nano second everything changes. Taking her luggages to the checking area, she followed her mother. A little hope rose in her and that is, she will probably see Vin again somehow, someday. The announcement for the flight was called and soon they board the plane. Higher and higher it went until all was left was a small patch of land that was left to be just part of her life. ***** Vin jolted at the sudden blast of his phone. It was already 6 a.m. He picked it up and saw that it was a call from his mother. "Hello mom?" He groggily answered. "Vin Drake Eriphus Alfajardo! Where the hell are you?!" His mom's booming voice almost made his eardrums bleed. "I'm at my condo..." He was cut in the mid sentence. "I really don't care where you really are. But come this quick. Your father needs you." Her mom's voice toned down and soon the beeping sound was all that he heard. How could he forget? The reason for his search was his father's last wish? Though death is inevitable, it still hurts when the time comes. No matter how you readied yourself from the pain it still goes deep within. He snapped when he remembered Kira. But to his shock, she was not there. And he knows that she wasn't an illusion since the blood stain on the sheets was the proof of the last night's wonder. Smiling like an i***t, he knows he's in love. And no woman can make him feel like that. Checking the bathroom, there was no one. Kitchen, and living area. But no one was there. Empty. Only his clothes were left on the floor. Hurriedly dressing up. He left his unit to go to the security department to ask for a CCTV footage. He needs to find her. Pronto. If he needs to flip over the world then he should. She'll be the one presented to the family as his bride to be. The record started at the front door of his unit about 3: 29 a.m. Kira was seen on her last night's dress. Hurriedly went out and fetched a cab. Luckily, the cab's plate number was been caught on screen. Pulling his connections, he found out where the taxi was and he asked to bring him to where Kira is. The taxi driver dropped him to a house near the city but on his dismay that her family migrated that day, leaving the house and selling the car. He got home feeling lost. "Son, where is your bride?" His father asked him over the family meeting. "Uhmm... I don't know. I need to find her." He blurted out exasperated and dishelving his hair. "I thought you found her already." That was his mom. "Well, I didn't know that she will migrate today. So I need to settle things out and find her soonest." "Yeah you should. Your mistake was you gave the heirloom to a girl you just met. How i***t could you get." His mother's well shaped brows arched. "I'm disappointed by this matter." His dad spoke. "I'm so sorry dad. But I'll surely locate her. I promise to be wedded before your ultimatum." He said, heads bowed and heart's ached.
