1. Liberty Yearning Manor Grey looked a manor pulled right out from a fairytale. Its beautiful, yet dark, exotic structures was surrounded by beautiful flowers, trees and veins, which crawl up its walls in an artistic fashion. No matter what people thought about how oppressive it was, yet elegant and beautiful at the same time, it housed an unwilling soul in it. A soul that just wanted to be free and spread it wings and fly. That soul was currently staring at the sky through her window, sighing with a sad look and sorrow in her eyes. A knock on her door brought her out from her thoughts. “Come in.” An angelic voice said and a maid came in. “Hey, Thea.” The maid came in with a grin and hands behind her back. “Hey Melanie.” Theaella smiled at her, turning to face her. “What are you doing here? Is anything the matter?” “I’m here because it’s time to…” Melanie then brought her hands forward and showed her the plain, black cloak she brought along with her. “Go out to stretch our legs~” Melanie grins widely and Theaella jumped up from her window sill and stalked over to her friend with an excited look. “They are gone and won’t be back for another three hours. I’ve informed the others that you don’t want to be disturbed and wouldn’t like to be disturbed.” Melanie says, her brown eyes twinkling mischievously. “Now get change. We have a sword training to attend.” A grin found its way to Theaella’s lips and she allowed it to spread fully. Having her parents out of the house was the most pleasant news she’d always hear. On days like this, she can be able to sneak to town and do whatever she wanted. Theaella hurriedly went to her closet and shifted her clothes on hanger, reviling the wooden board behind it. She pushed a wooden button and her secret compartment reviled itself. The hidden compartment was like a drawer and in it were clothes, jewelries and other things she kept hidden from everyone. Well, almost everyone. Melanie was the only one that knew about it, seeing as she was the one to discover it and inform her about its existence. Theaella had persuaded her parents to give her this room when they had first bought the manor, and they cracked under pressure. Since she was thirteen years old, Theaella lived in this room and she couldn’t be happier for Mela’s discovery. She went for the cloth compartment and brought out her leather training clothes and changed into them. She then proceeded in bringing out two different wigs from another compartment and she gave one to Mela. They wore it and made sure to secure it properly on their head. She then wore the cloak, flipping on the hoodie. Even after seeing the town so many times, Theaella still marveled at everything. She stared curiously at every stale and the goods they sold. Most times she even bought some of the goods which held her interest and she hid them in her secret compartment, for obvious reasons. With their fast pace, they reached the general training ground in no time. Theaella greeted her sparing buddies with enthusiasm, eyes wide with excitement. Like usual, Theaella stretches, showing her flexibility and drawing the usual leers and calls. She just laughs them off, her leg bent high up in the air. Melanie was standing behind her, her cloak still on and the hoodie covering her face, looking like the angel of death with her thousand watt glare. Theaella proved that she had improved in her sword handling, as well as fighting skills. She manages to fight one of the less seasoned fighter for seven minutes before she gets disarmed and knocked over and she landed on her back. All in all, it was a thrilling experience. Currently, the two were strolling through the market, both nibbling on some biscuits. Melanie still has her large hoodie up, not wanting to draw attention to herself. The two young women look around, getting on or two things they could easily hide on themselves and in their rooms. Whilst looking around – with Melanie keeping an eye out for a familiar carriage – and not paying attention, Theaella bumped into someone, knocking down their goods from the bag they carried. “Oh my God! I’m so dreadfully sorry!” Theaella exclaimed. She crouched down and started picking up the fallen goods back into the bag, which had been placed on the floor with the owner helping her pick the others up. Theaella dropped the last fruit into the bag and raised her head. “I sincerely apologize for not looking-” The young lady pauses when she saw those eyes. Those beautiful crystal blue eyes that have a hint of indigo in them. Theaella was spelled speechless. Even the owner of said eyes was speechless too. For what reason, she didn’t know. Theaella couldn’t help but utter, “You have beautiful eyes.” “And so do you, Milady.” The man whispered, his sweet, yet deep, baritone voice soothing to Theaella’s eyes like a cup of hot chocolate with a dash of caramel on a cold, stormy night. To be frank, Theaella didn’t find anything fascinating about her teal eyes, seeing that her mother had it – and by God were her emerald and turquoise eyes beautiful. But hearing this kind of compliment for the first time from a complete stranger, a handsome one at that, Theaella couldn’t help but blush. “Thank you.” The teal eyed lady said shyly. She shyly tucked a strand of her hair behind her eye, her cheeks alit with a light blush. The man smiled at her and Theaella too smiled back at him shyly. Before any of them could say anything, Melanie stepped forward and whispered into Theaella’s ears, highly agitated. “I just saw your parents’ carriage close by.” Theaella’s eyes went wide in horror. “We have to go; now.” Melanie grabbed her hand and they started running. “Wait!” The man shouted before they got far. “May I know thy name?” He asked. “Thea.” Elia turned to him. “My name is Thea.” She gave him a warm smile before Melanie tugged her hand and the two ran off, leaving a thoroughly bewitched man behind. When they got to the vicinity of the quasi-castle, her parent’s carriage was just passing through the gates. They sneaked in by using the hidden hole in the wall, covered by bush which they crawled in through, located by the far end. The two stealthily man their way to where Theaella’s room was located, dodging and hidden from the few working maids and butlers. They got to where Theaella’s window was located and they proceeded in climbing up to it with the use of the thick vines.
