TO BE A WINNER

It was a normal day a the African land the sun was as hot as always as mike was in the farm he had already plant some crops and was happy for the sun as he finished planting the last of his crop he went and sat down under a tree he brought out a cigarette and lighted it as he let out a huge smoke after he had already inhaled some he remembered his son that was born yesterday and looked a lot like him he was hoping he would finish up early to go to the hospital lost in his thought he was brought back to reality by the hopping of a rabbit that wanted to eat his planted carrot and as soon as he ass the rabbit he picks up his riffle and shot at the rabbit killing it he picked up the dead rabbit and decided to call it a day. He was later re informed that his wife would be coming home with his son later so he started cooking he boiled the rabbit and mixed some spices and stirred up the stew it filled the air with a pleasant aroma , his whole neighborhood could smell it some cyclist stopped just to have a wiff of it . Mike was a tall dark skinned man with a goatee and he had a little hair he was in his early Thirty's and had a birth mark of the looked like a pyramid as he was done preparing the food he heard the sound of a taxi and he ran towards the taxi as he saw a dark skinned tall woman who looked like she was in her twenties andg she had a black colored hair it was his wife Priscilla, as soon as she saw mike coming closer to the she quickly tipped the driver and walked toward mike as they met she kissed him on his cheek and he had a look at his baby he looked just like him and he took the baby in his arm "what is this tasty aroma that I smell" asked Priscilla "don't tell me it your famous rabbit stew "Mike nodded his head with a grin on his face and the Priscilla let out a sigh of relief and gave a stern look as she asked "mike have spotted peter anywhere around here lately ?" it was a very odd question thought mike "no , why do you ask" well she was still very stern looking she said "I didn't wanted to mention it but I saw him yesterday he came by at the hospital he told me with a grin on his ugly face "she repeated peter's words as though she was him" watch your back Stanley " as they were talking their conversation was cut short when a villager started running and shouting , they couldn't grab what he said but they heard " they have come the reapers " hearing this sentence both mike and Priscilla shivered they were scared soon enough they caught sight of peter walking towards them was a man about 5.2 feet tall, he had black hair and was some sort of jacket with the writing boldly "THE REAPERS 2 DIVISION CAPTAIN" he had a smile on his face all the way there " well, well, well funny seeing you guys here" he walked closer to mike staring the baby "is that your son wow a plus one in your family " he chuckled , but mike looked at him dead in the eye and obviously did not find any of this funny . He said " what do you and your reapers gang want in this village ?" peter took out a cigarette and lit it , he said calmly with the cigarette in his mouth " That is simple really , we are having a big war and we need a more wider place to hide and form a strategy and your village is in the way so we are burning it " Mike face went pale after hearing what peter just said and how he said it like it was something normal and the mike walked into his house eying peter through his window as he went in he brought out a luggage probably filled with clothes and another bag packed with food supplies he brought out his phone and called a taxi driver and peter was still smiling with the cigarette in his mouth and later he stood up shot mike on his leg and called some boys to drag him out while Priscilla was begging with her baby in her arm , peter walked up to her and said "run " ironically the taxi arrived and priscilla got in with the luggage sobbing as the driver went off
