The two SUVs stops not far from us
"Any idea wat they want?" Frake asks.
"No one knows, maybe we can ask them?" Imane suggested.
"Where is Aria?" Lily asks.
"Back in the van, sleeping soundly." I answered.
"I smell vampires. What do they want?"
"Not only that, I also smell rogues and... wolf?" Akashi said.
"Well well well. If it isnt the Red Crescent Moon Pack's little puppies and Japan's famous princesses." one of the guys said. He must be the leader I think?
"What do you want?" I asks. This guy look familiar.
"Impatient as always our dear princess. Never gets old."
"Im sorry but I dont know who you are so dont address me like we are close."
"Ouch!" he pretended he was hurt and clutching his chest, "How could you forgot about me? I am your friend! a precious one! We were unseparable until that b***h came!" he said grimly.
"Freya, I think I remember who he is?" Yui whispered, "I think he is one of our guards son? Garry?"
"Garrison? I thought he was...oh..."
"Give us Aria Hendrick and none of you will get hurt."
So they are after Aria after all? Good thing she is--
"What is going on here?" a faniliar voice cut me of, "I heard someone is looking for me?"
"There you are little one? My master wanted to see you, please come woth us and we wont hurt you friends." Garry confidently said.
"Why would I meet someone who doenst have any appointment with me?" she turn to us, "Arent we going to the mall?"
"Yeah but things happened. That happens." Lily said pointing at the guys.
"Gar, are we just gonna stand here? Its clear to us that they dont want to give the target!" one of the bad guys said.
"Then we have no choice but to take her by force! Get them! Kill if needed! Garry shouted.
Frake suddenly went in front of one of the bad guys and slam it to the ground. Others shifted so I did too, I just hope they have extra clothes at the car.
I keep my defense protecting Aria. Or so I thought. A flash of red pass by my side and one by one i saw dead bodies, a headless wolf laying on the ground being trampled by a big red wolf. It howled. A different kind of howl. Like its celebrating for its kill.
'Freya, this isnt good. She is in a bad mood.' Uru said.
'And why is that?'
'That is Ruby, she is the only wolf in history to be passed down. The wolf who killed thousands. That dark aura. Why? Why did the Moon Goddess gave her to Aria as its counterpart? Why now? This is a big trouble!' Uru said panicking while bowing her head.
I looked at the others and they did the same, looking at the ground, shivering.
"Garry! You said we can handle them! You never mentiones that they have the Reaper!" one of the wolf said.
"Shut up you useless rogue! Its just a wolf! A tiny girl inside! Why are you so scared of huh?"
Ruby, Aria's wolf, walked towards the enemy, and little by little its shifting back to human form until she reach Garry. There is something wrong here. Why is her body didnt stop shrinking? Like she is as tall as a 6 years old kid.
"Are you the leader?" she asks, emotionless.
"Y-yes, you have a problem with that?"
"You know, its my day off today. I want to relax but my friends here drag me out here to buy something at the mall, and then you guys happen." she said, again emotionless. Cold tone that made us all shiver.
I suddenly felt that Im shifting back to my own body same as the others.
'Sorry Freya, but we cant afford to offend the Reaper. You may be her friend but we cant stop her at a time of her kills.' Uru apologized.
'Its fine,' Uru curled into a ball at the back of my mind. I nees to stop this. But how?
"Vampires a-attack her!" Garry shouted and all of the vampires tried to attack her but with only a swish of her hand all of them lost their heads.
"Ungrateful being. Not even apologising. Tsk." she turn around and walked back to our direction. But Garry being an i***t and a coward he tried to attack Aria, and before he could touch a single hair of her I move from my spot and tackled him.
Hovering on top of Garry, I saw him went pale as he got my scent when I leaned on him. For wolves my scent is calming but on vampires its poison.
"Im sorry if we saw each other like this and end up one of us dead. We couldve been good friends until now if you didnt became an i***t like tour father. Goodbye Garry." I said before I sank my fangs and drink his blood dry.
Garry is one of our loyal servant's son, a high-rank one, he is supposed to follow his grandfather's footstep being my butler, my protector, but he died or so we thought.
'Thank you for the blood Freya.'
'No problem Uru.'
"Aria!"
I looked back at my friends and saw Aria laying on the ground. I ran over to them to see what happened.
"She is just sleeping. But why does she look like a 6 years old kid?"
"Maybe it has something to do with her shifting?" I said.
"Lets go back to the packhouse."
"How about the mall?" Yui being an ass asks.
"We will go when she gets well. Now carry her and lets go back. We need to do some reasearch for 'this'." Hirochi said pointing out Aria.
"If Aria is awake she already got your dead dude." Frake said while opening the back of the car. He took some clothes and throw it to us, "Those will do, we will take a shortcut back to the packhouse."
"I called for my father, we need to stay here until they arrived. We cant just leave these dead bodies." Lily said.
"Good thinking." I said and carried Aria back to the van and waited for the backups to arrive.
The only wolf who got passed down huh? Why are you so special Aria? You just got a Mythical wolf in your hands.
