Episode 4 Cherries, Bananas and the Culprits

After the ceremony two days ago I quickly left the hall and went straight to the infirmary to check if what Imane said is true and it is. There lies a girl who I always have a competition with every time our family visit each other or attend a gathering.

Imane and Hirochi are still investigating how she got washed out on our beach. Japan is miles away from the US. No one is on the right mind to ride a cruise straight from the pacific to the US border unless you are adventurous enough?

I examined her cuts and bruises and found out that is given intentionally and not by accident. Is the Tanaka having a war with another pack or creatures? Is she held captive and escape?

"What should I tell your parents Freya? How did you manage to get yourself in this kind of trouble?" I sighed while sitting in my office frustrated enough.

"Alpha, the Tanaka is here," Iris said mind linking me.

"Sent them in."

After a few moments, I am now standing face to face with Freya's parents and Sisters. The Alpha and Luna of Bright Alps Moon Pack.

"It is nice to see you again Alpha Kenji Tanaka, Luna Yuki Nickolai Tanaka and to Freya's siblings, Akashi and Yui Tanaka," I said and vow my head with respect.

"Good afternoon to you to new Alpha of Red Crescent Moon Pack. Alpha Aria Hendrick. I won't beat around the bush, how is Freya?" Alpha Kenji said.

"She is stable now, but she hasn't regained consciousness for 2 days, I'm also getting worried about her condition. The doctor said it is because she hit her head somewhere, we already did a test but the results say nothing serious, that it's normal." I explained calmly.

"Oh, my poor daughter." Luna Yuki said and about to cry.

"Luna Yuki, you can see her if you want, Iris here could lead you to the infirmary. I assigned some guard there for her safety so you need someone you know to enter the place."

"I will, I want to see her. Thank you for thinking of her safety even though the two of you always fight."

"Dont mention it Luna Yuki."

"Oh please just call me Auntie Yuki or Mother since I am also your Godmother since birth. After all your mom is my best friend," she said.

"Uhm... Okay, Mommy Yuki," I said shyly.

"I'm sorry for your loss by the way, about your parents. Call me Father or Dad from now on." Alpha Kenji said.

"Thank you but I prefer calling you Old Man Kenji than calling you Dad." he laughed at my remarks.

"You really have tour father's habits on calling others in such names."

"Yeah, I call these two here Bananas and Freya a Cherry because she always smells one."

"Hey! That's rude you know? We haven't seen each other in years and you calling us Bananas?"

"Why not? You smell like one." I said, "You think I wouldn't notice? The moment you saw me your raging hormones stinks the place. I have a sensitive smell, plus I am unmated. I didn't give off my smell, you guys can really be a d*ck sometimes too."

"Akashi, Yui, both of you out! We will have a talk later." Old Man Kenji said kicking them out of the room.

"I will also take my leave and visit Freya, she might be awake now. I already sensed it." Luna Yuki said as she went straight to the door.

"Alpha Kenji can we have a talk?" I said as the three left the room.

"Is there something bothering you?"

"Tell me, are you having troubles with your territory?"

"Yes, but there is nothing we can handle."

"As I said Freya was found by Imane and Hirochi at the beach near our packhouse. Can you please explain to me how she got there?"

"She ran away from home after being rejected by her mate. She accepted it, but it still hurts on her part because the one who rejected her is also her best friend, Ryuu Osada. She's been here in the US for a year now."

"Wait! What? She's been here for a year but never tried to contact me even once? She knew there is a place for her here! How can she do that? Argh!" I said growling.

"Calm down, please. So yeah, few weeks before you found her we lost contact with her, we don't know what happened until your friends saw Freya lying on your beach."

"We cant even trace the smell where she came from because of the water."

"If you found her at the beach does that mean the culprit is in the water like in a boat or maybe in one of the islands? Freya is a good swimmer. How big is your territory?"

"We own the whole town and the neighboring islands within a hundred thousand miles radius," I said.

"That's vast. How are we going to find those culprits?"

"Imane and Hirochi are on it, investigating the case. As a matter of fact, one of them mind linked me minutes before you got here. Those guys are looking for her saying they are her brothers."

"Those bastards! They will pay for what they did!"

"We can't kill humans."

"What?! Are you just going to let them go?"

"Calm down okay? Jeez!"

"How am I supposed to calm down?! They hurt my daughter!"

"I know, and I hate them for lying to about their identity. We will judge them in the humans way of dealing with things. Let me handle this one, we got the best attorney in the pack you know. Besides, that is what my father always said. Decide wisely on everything."

"Fine, I will let you handle this one. I trust you. Your parents raised you well. This is why rogues and other creatures cant bring you down. Your family is one of the Ancient Royalties after all."

"Please being part of an Ancient Royal Family is nothing if you can't think wisely and protect everyone."

"Earlier you said that Freya smells like cherries, since when? What we all know is she smells like Lime. At least that is what she gave off."

"Lime? No, I am sure she smelled like sweet cherries ever since we met. Her smells stand out you know. There is also something that always pulls me towards her and keeps calm even if she is always playing pranks on me."

He chuckled and smiled, "Anyway, we will stay here until Freya can handle herself. I hope you will accept her in your pack. She wishes to transfer, at least Freya knows where to."

"You guys are welcome here, after all, this is Luna Yuki's first home. Our families are connected to each other."

Suddenly his eyes turned black they revert back to normal.

"I guess it's time to see Freya, she's awake, shall we see her?"

"You go first, I have some work to do. I will see her later. The doctor won't gives her discharge papers even if she is awake now. Not until I know that she is not to be out in the infirmary. Have a good day Alpha Kenji, see you at dinner."

"Yeah see you."

Once he closed the door Imane mind linked me saying we have a problem.
