Chapter 4:   As the girls went out of the mall, all people outside are in awe, captivated by their beauty. Some even took pictures. Somewhere, though, a group of guys seemed to notice them.   "Hey, Kyle. There's the Flower of Angels." Sean said. Kyle, however, did not pay any heed.   "Sean, you better find clothes while they change." Kyle said, still looking through clothes. He sweat dropped, knowing that Kyle does not care about what he said.   "Hey, do I look cool?" Zeene asked, acting as if a model. Wearing the simplest type of clothes, all black. From head to toe. Zeene Anderson, their annoying and clueless-at-everything friend. The kind of guy who’s never serious at anything. Though, he is known as the second smartest in the whole school. Charles sighed.   "Stop playing around, Zeene." He said. Charles Lim, their serious friend. He treats everything with seriousness as he believes that it is the way of life, to be successful. The kind of guy who aces every test and does not have time to fool around with love.   "Luke, you can come out now. You’ve been there for almost ten minutes." Kyle said. Luke Graham, the playboy of the group. Fools around with girls every day, flirting and all. The kind of guy who does not take love seriously and a no-girlfriend-since-birth.   Currently wearing a pink polo with a white sweater jacket with blue linings on it and jeans, matching it with a white sneaker. He's wearing a black contact to cover his pink eyes and has brown hair.   "Why do we need to dress up again?" Luke asked, confused on whatever is happening.   "Will you just stop asking?" Charles asked, annoyed.   "You know, instead of being grumpy, I'll suggest you start changing now." Luke said.   "I don't need you to tell me that." Charles replied as he went inside the dressing room.   "You shouldn't have tried his temper, Luke." Sean said, reminding his friend, laughing at him.   "Silence.” Kyle said. They immediately shut up, don't want to make him mad.   "By the way, one of Flower of Angels looks exactly like Rhys. But I'm sure it's impossible." Kyle said.   "Of course. There's no way Rhys will wear clothes like those." Luke said.   "Yeah but if you look and examine them, they look exactly the same as our girl friends.” Sean said.   "You agree with me?" Kyle asked.   "Of course. I find that girl in suspenders look exactly Chloe but like I said... It is impossible. Pretty impossible." Sean said.   Then, Charles came out. He is wearing lime polo with brown jeans, with green VANS shoes. Has yellow contacts and red messy hair.   "Sean, you go next. Hurry." Kyle said. Sean scowled then walked towards the dressing room. Charles looked outside.   "Huh, isn't that Alex?" Charles asked. Luke looked at him, weirdly.   "What are you talking about?" Luke asked.   "Oh, it's nothing. I'm probably just hallucinating." Charles said.   "Sean, why are you taking so long?" Kyle asked, voice getting louder.   Then he came out. Sean's wearing a black long sleeve with a brown sweater jacket and black jeans, with black Adidas shoes. Has green contacts and his brown messy hair.   "Goodness, you took forever just for changing." Kyle said. He did not waste time; he immediately changes into his new attire. He came out. He's wearing a blue long sleeve and black shorts, with a white NMD shoes. He's wearing baby blue contacts to cover his real eye color and has blue-black hair.   Looking at a third person’s point of view, they have, unknowingly to each other, finished with their disguise as they continue to go along their plan for this day, tonight to be precise.   The girls have arrived at their destination, "Wow, this is enormous! Whose mansion is this?" Monica asked. The gates opened automatically as a beep were heard from the car they are riding on.   "Flower of Angels." Alexandra replied, waiting for her reaction.   "I see." Monica said, nonchalantly, while looking around. The girls waited, as if knowing that it is just a delay of reaction.   “Wait, what?” Monica asked, shocked. She finally looked at them, after being in awe with the way the garden has been designed.   "Alex responded to your question of whose mansion we’re at right now. It’s the Flower of Angels’ mansion." Chloe explained, slowly. Speechless, she waited for a few seconds before speaking, not being able to grasp the situation. They got off their car and proceeded to enter inside.   "Why are we at their mansion? Are you guys friends with them or something?" Monica asked, terrified. Then, out of nowhere, the guards came out and greeted.   "Good afternoon, Madame.” The guards greeted. Rhys politely smiled back at them.   "Please gather the Pawns." Rhys ordered. The guards nodded. “Please do take a seat for the meantime.” The girls nodded, sitting primly on the huge sofa. Monica silently continued to admire the place, loving how the colors complimented the whole room.   But then, she remembered that they haven’t answered her question. "What is this all about, Rhys? Did they ask for us?" She asked, wanting to know what is happening.   "Tell you later." Rhys replied. She got up and went inside one of the rooms in the hallway as the Pawns have finished gathering. Chloe pulled Monica in the middle, ready to introduce her.   "Everyone, this is Geneva Blossom." Chloe announced.   "She's a Bishop." Samantha added. Monica looked confused but greeted nonetheless.   "Pleased to meet you, everyone. Though I don’t know yet why we’re here." Monica greeted. The girls smiled.   "Now, please choose. Fight or Initiation?" Kathrynne asked.   "What's going on?" Monica whispered. They ignored her, full attention’s with the crowd in front of them.   "If you choose 'fight', please go to that pink room. While for 'initiation', please go to that blue room." Alexandra said. The Paws started to move, some went to the pink-door room and some to the blue-door room.   "Hey. What's this, Chloe?" Monica asked. Chloe smiled, as if reassuring her.   "It will be explained later on, Nica." She said, going to the room that Rhys went to. “Are we being ordered around by that gang?” She asked.   "Nica, kindly proceed to that red room." Kathrynne ordered. Monica blinked twice.   "Red room? But you said, pink or blue." Monica said. Samantha smiled.   "Just go." Samantha said, gently squeezing her arm.   “I don’t even know what’s happening.” She commented, sighing. She walked towards the red-door room, following their every order.   "Alex, please go with her and place the tattoo on her back; left side." Kathrynne said.   Inside the red-door room are things needed for tattoo engraving and a smiling woman. Monica looked around, as usual, with confusion still on her mind. Alexandra appeared behind her.   "We'll have your tattoo engraved on your back." Alexandra said.   "You know, this is really absurd. We are being bullied by that gang. I am not going to have a tattoo engraved on me. We should report them for this." She protested, arms crossed.   "It doesn't hurt." Alexandra commented.   "I don't care if it hurts or not. Most importantly, why do I have to get a tattoo?" She asked, getting impatient. Alexandra sighed.   "We told you, we'll explain it all once we’re finished. Now shut your mouth and sit right here." Alexandra said, pointing and standing right behind the bed-chair. Monica glared at her but followed the instructions, sitting comfortably.   “You may start now, please. Left side on her back.” Alexandra said, smiling at the woman, the tattooist.   “Please lay face down, Madame.” The tattooist mentioned. Monica complied. She began the process. Alexandra is silently watching them, just in case Monica struggles in hurt.   "Hey. By the way, what do you mean by Geneva Blossom?" Monica asked. Alexandra just stared at her. How persistent, she thought, rolling her eyes.   Meanwhile, Chloe and Rhys are discussing about what to tell Monica. Unsure if revealing everything will not put them in harm, considering that Sean’s her cousin.   “I’m sure she’s on our side, Rhy.” Chloe commented. Rhys sighed.   “I’m just not sure about telling her everything but I do trust that she’s with us.” She replied, slightly smiling. Chloe smiled back.   Back to the lady getting her tattoo done, on the red-door room, noise is heard all over the room.   "There, it's done!" The tattooist said, smiling at her artwork. Monica gritted her teeth.   "That f*****g hurt like hell, Alex." Monica said, panting. Alexandra laughed.   "Oh, come on. It's like an ant's bite. Now come with me and Rhys will explain everything to you." Alexandra said, smiling.   "Ant's bite, my ass." Monica muttered, glaring coldly at her.   The two walked back to the living room and proceeded to the gold-door room that Rhys and Chloe went earlier to. They found all the other girls quietly discussing information about what Monica should know.   “We’re back.” Alexandra announced. The girls smiled excitedly at the two as they sat down.   “Nica, we’re going to be telling everything you needed to know.” Chloe mentioned.   “About time!” Monica said, finally about to get rid of her suspicions.   "We have different types of how we’re known. We’ll show how we are differentiated, so please listen carefully. I have lavender-shaped tattoo.” Rhys started.   She pointed at Chloe, “Chloe has cherry blossom”, then at Sam, “Sam has snowdrop”, at Kath, “Kath has sunflower”, lastly at Alex, “And Alex has primrose.”   “We’ll tell you about our tattoo as well.” Kathrynne continued, “Rhys’ tattoo is placed on the left of her collarbone, it is a violet-colored tattoo. Chloe has it on her chest, right side, a pink-colored tattoo.”   Chloe showed her, “Sam’s tattoo is on the middle of her back, a little on the left, pink as well.” Chloe added. Sam turned around and lifted her top to show it.   “Mine’s here at my left arm and Alex’s has it on her back, bottom left, we both have pink as well. I believe you have one, too.” Kathrynne finished. They showed her theirs. Monica showed all of them what she just got, a red rose.   “To continue, each tattoo is based on the ranking of a chess piece. The pink-colored tattoo represents the ‘Knights’. The red-colored tattoo is for ‘Bishops’, and the yellow-colored tattoo is for ‘Pawns’, the lowest rank we have.” Samantha discussed.   Monica went silent, trying to absorb everything that was said, “I’m really confused right now.”, as she admitted.   “We know that you have a lot of questions on your head. Ask away and we’ll provide you with answers you needed.” Samantha suggested.   “First of all, does having the tattoo means joining?”   “Yes. Getting the tattoo is part of the initiation, the start of joining.”   “Why are you guys part of this gang? Were you threatened by them? Did they also tell you to add me in?”   “No, we’re not threatened nor blackmailed.” Chloe replied.   “Then you willingly joined?” They nodded in response.   “This is really a surprise. How did they find you? How did they know about me?”   "Let’s proceed with the rules, then.” Alexandra interrupted.   “Rules?”   "We are completely hiding from the public, no one knows who we are and how we look like. Every day after school, we must always go straight here." Alexandra explained.   "Second, you cannot openly show your tattoo and it must be hidden very well. Of course, this is for us not to be busted with our disguise."   "Third, there should be no secrets. Unless it's very private, like family problems."   "Fourth, we can't just fight anyone, anywhere just because we want to. If ever you’re caught in one, you should ask permission from the ‘Queen’ to fight back and defend yourself."   "Lastly, permission to kill is given, to anyone who even think of betrayal within the group.” Rhys finished.   “And that’s the last thing we’d ever want to do, honestly.” Chloe commented.   “I understand all the rules. That’s pretty much the obvious.” Monica stated.   “It is a must that we follow all these, to avoid any trouble.”   Monica nodded, “So what’s the objective of the Flowers of Angels?”   “To find peace within.” To be continued....
