Part 5: The Realization
Days turned into weeks. They avoided each other, though their hearts ached with the absence. Aarohi missed Meera's laughter, her quiet strength, the comfort of her presence. Meera missed the way Aarohi always understood her, the way she made even the dullest moments sparkle.
But pride is a stubborn thing. Neither of them reached out, both waiting for the other to make the first move.
It was during one of those lonely evenings when Meera received a message from Aarohi.
"Can we talk?"

Part 6: Healing and Growth
They met at the park where they had spent countless afternoons as kids, lying under the sun and dreaming about the future. Now, the same park felt like a reminder of how much they had drifted.
"I'm sorry," Aarohi said softly. "I didn't mean to hurt you. I never wanted to replace you, Meera. I just... I thought you'd be okay. I didn't realize how left out you felt."
Meera looked down, her fingers tracing circles on the bench. "I was scared. Scared that I was losing you. I guess I didn't know how to deal with it. Instead of telling you, I let the jealousy take over."
There was silence, but this time it was comforting, like a wound beginning to heal.
"I missed you," Aarohi admitted. "No one understands me like you do. Tara is great, but she's not... she's not you."
Meera's lips trembled into a small smile. "I missed you too."
