Chapter 6: curse and death

''Everyone should stay back and not move.'' Ella commanded while standing up. She moved towards the window and looked outside, but she couldn't find anyone, ''Listen guys, don't stand up from where you are and don't move. Most importantly, don't you dare wish for anything till we are out of this place.'' she whispered.

"What do you mean? We need to wish for things so we can have hope.'' a young girl stood up and whispered, she looked cute, but Emily found her stupid. She walked towards her, ''What is your name?'' she questioned.

''Sunny?'' She answered, unsure why Emily was asking her for the name she already knew.

''Well Sunny, why don't you shut the f**k up and sit back down, although we are safe here, it is still dangerous." Everyone gasped. They all knew how Emily had changed, but never in their widest dream did they ever think she would use the f word.

Sunny clenched her fist in anger. Although she had noticed how Ella had been saving them, she had always hated her guts and now she was behaving rudely just because she knows something they don't know, ''You really think you are something just because you know something we all don't know? How sure are we that you are not actually the person that planned all of these just to be recognized?''

Emily felt something more than anger building up inside of her. She felt irritated and annoyed. ''Do whatever you want, i have no need to talk to a child who doesn't want to listen, but make sure to bear the consequences of your action.'' she turned and faced the students, ''I wont try to stop any of you in doing whatever you want, you are not my responsibility.'' she turned and walk away, she walked towards the stars and sat there, looking at the studnts who were talking amongt themselves.

Thirty minutes later, Emily saw the students dividing themselves into two groups while the GYM teacher looked anxious. About twenty students came towards her, including Sandy and the Asian girl. The Asian girl was first to speak when they reached where Emily was sitting, 'So we decided to divide the group and we decided we would be following you.''

Immediately the Asian had finished speaking, Emily stood up and ran towards the other group, she grabbed Sunny's hand, ''What the hell are you doing? You want them all to die following you?'' Emily yelled.

''Leave me the f**k alone.'' Sunny flung her hand and yelled back, ''What the hell is wrong with you, you rich freak, how can we trust you when you don't tell us anything!"

''Freak? You called me a freak?'' Emily asked, bewildered. All she was doing was help them to survive, but she was called a freak?

" Yes, you are a freak, you screamed and fell down and held your ear while we were on our way here, and after we ran inside this place, your ear started bleeding, and you also always talk to yourself, if you ain't a freak, then what the hell are you?'' Sunny bawled.

''Do it, make a wish, kill yourselves, i won't give a f**k about any of you.'' She turned to the GYM teacher and sighed, ''Don't join them.'' she wasn't commanding him, she was making a request.

''Yeah right, I wish we all get out of this shitty temple!'' Sunny yelled.

''Me too.''

"Me three.''

Sky and Sun-shine, who were Sunny's best friends agreed. Immediately they finished talking, the temple shook and what seemed to be a laugh was heard within the temple, the dark night turned to day.

''did you hear that?''

''OMG!''

"What was that?''

"The hell?''

''Jesus Christ!''

The students, one after the other, started murmuring, the laugh they heard within the temple sounded terrifying. Sunny gulped and glanced at her two friends who were looking at her while shuddering in fear, ''What was that?'' Sun-shine mumbled.

''You have been caused and if you don't kill someone as a sacrifice, then you are the one that is going to die, believe it or not.'' Emily answered the unspeakable question, she turned to the students who were holding the hands of the people besides them, ''Let go, we have gotten an early morning.'' Without waiting for their response, she walked towards the door, opened it and walked out, not looking back.

The students picked up their equipment and left the temple, leaving the three friends behind. They didn't care whether Emily was lying or not, they just wanted to leave this island.

THIRTY MINUTES LATER'

''You are quiet.''

''Leave me alone, I'm thinking.''

''What are you thinking?''

''Who you are, why i am here, and if we are all going to die here.'' Emily responded. They were still walking without knowing their direction, the students were not complaining of being tired, they were scared of stopping without knowing what would come out and eat them.

''Stop, rest.'' the voice didn't say anything anymore.

Emily stopped walking and sat down. The students followed suit, thanking the gods that they were resting, because they couldn't sleep last night. They all doze off, including Emily.

DREAM.....

''Come this way.''

Emily found herself standing in a place full of darkness and the only thing she was hearing was the same voice that always talked to her in the day.

''Come this way.''

"Where? i can't see anything," Emily answered while walking.

"Come this way."

"You can't just keep saying, 'come this way,' without telling me which way it is.''

"Come this ....''

Emily was woken by Sandy, who was looking at her with a scared face, ''Wake up Emily, something is happening.'' Emily opened her eyes and stood up almost immediately, "What?'' Emily questioned, seeing the fear in Sandy's eyes.

Sandy pulled Emily towards the place where almost all the students were. The students, instead of sleeping, were gasping and were looking at something which seemed horrifying based on the look on their faces and their body language.

Emily walked forward, ''Excuse me.'' Emily was granted entrance and what she saw made her have nightmares for days. She saw Sunny and her two friends trashing about and wailing in anguish, green splotches appeared and spread across their faces and started to swell. The flesh split at the boil and grew into red blood and gooey wounds and slowly turned dark. The green splotches spread to their necks and throughout their bodies, they wail as the rotted flesh dripped into the ground, emitting a foul odor. At this rate, the three of them were just like a corpse that did not stop rotting.

Emily turned away from the scene and gagged out all the substances inside her stomach, she looked around and found others doing the same thing, ''Go... go back now, let's sleep till it is morning and then we will leave this place.

The students did as they were told, but nobody slept that night. Whenever they close their eyes, they all see themselves experiencing the same thing the three friends experienced, including Emily. Immediately they saw the sunlight, nobody told them to pack up and leave, leaving the rotting corpses on the ground that were still breathing and were staring at them.
