What was supposed to be a fun school vacation becomes a nightmare that no one can escape.

When Emily Hunter awakens with the memories of a ruthless assassin from another world, she finds herself trapped in the body of a teenage genius on a mysterious island where the rules of reality no longer exist. Every step forward is a fight for survival, every night claims new victims, and every choice comes with a deadly price.

Monsters lurk in the darkness. Ancient temples grant wishes in exchange for sacrifice. Friendly faces may hide horrifying secrets, and the voices whispering inside Emily's mind seem to know the island better than anyone alive.

As students disappear one by one, Emily must lead the survivors through cursed forests, haunted ruins, and terrifying creatures that feed on fear, flesh, and madness. But the island is alive... and it refuses to let anyone leave.

With every mystery she uncovers, Emily realizes the island did not bring them here by accident. Someone—or something—has been waiting for her.

To escape, she must discover the truth behind the voice in her head, the death of the original Emily Hunter, and the ancient evil hidden at the heart of the island.

Because on this island...

The greatest danger isn't dying.

It's becoming part of the island forever.

Chapter 1: Faded memories.
"Do you believe in magic? No? Well... I do. And before this story ends, you will too." — Unknown --- "Wake up... Wake up..." Emily groaned as the unfamiliar voice echoed through her mind. Her eyelids felt heavy, and for a moment she couldn't remember where she was. She slowly opened her eyes. Silence greeted her. There was no one inside the large tent. Confused, she sat up, rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and stepped outside. The sight before her stole her breath. The sun was setting over a beautiful tropical island, painting the sky with brilliant shades of orange, pink, and gold. A bonfire crackled nearby while students danced, laughed, and sang along to music playing through a portable speaker. It looked less like the aftermath of a plane crash and more like a holiday celebration. Emily blinked several times. None of it felt familiar. A girl with short, wavy red hair stood alone outside a nearby tent. Gathering her courage, Emily walked over and gently tapped her shoulder. The girl turned around, and her worried expression instantly became one of relief. "Emily!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around her. "You're finally awake!" Emily stiffened before carefully pulling away. "Who are you?" she asked quietly. "Where am I... and who am I?" The girl's smile disappeared. "You... don't remember?" Emily slowly shook her head. "I don't remember anything." The girl stared at her in disbelief before forcing a small smile. "Okay... maybe you're joking." She laughed nervously. "Your name is Emily Hunter. You're seventeen years old and the only daughter of the Hunter family. We were on a school trip when our plane crash-landed on this island. Luckily, everyone survived." Emily listened carefully, hoping the words would awaken a forgotten memory. Nothing happened. Not a single image. Not a single face. Not even her own name felt familiar. Before she could ask another question, her stomach growled loudly. The girl laughed softly. "I guess introductions can wait. You haven't eaten since yesterday. Come on." She gently took Emily's hand and led her toward the bonfire, where dozens of students sat talking and eating together. The moment Emily appeared, one of the boys grinned. "Well, look who's finally awake!" The conversation stopped. Every pair of eyes turned toward her. Then laughter erupted. Emily frowned, completely confused. The red-haired girl handed her a plate of food. "They're laughing because of what happened yesterday." Emily looked up. "What happened?" "You really don't remember?" Emily shook her head once again. "No." Before the girl could answer, another student pushed through the crowd. She had long red hair, expensive clothes, and an air of confidence. "Emily!" she cried. "You scared me yesterday!" Emily studied her face. Nothing. No memories. No recognition. "I'm sorry," Emily said honestly. "Who are you?" The girl's smile froze. "You don't know me?" Emily lowered her eyes. "I'm sorry... I don't know who anyone is." For the first time, silence spread across the campfire. The students exchanged uneasy glances. Emily wasn't pretending. Something had happened to her. Emily sat on the edge of the bed while Sandy quietly took the seat beside her. The silence between them lingered for several seconds. Finally, Emily looked up. "Please," she said. "Tell me who I am." Sandy searched her face carefully. The arrogance and pride she had always known seemed to have disappeared, replaced by confusion and fear. "You really don't remember anything?" Emily slowly shook her head. "Nothing." Sandy drew a deep breath. "Your name is Emily Hunter. You're seventeen years old and the only daughter of Richard Hunter, the owner of Hunter Corporation." Emily frowned. "I don't want to know how rich my father is." Sandy blinked. "I want to know about... me." There was something so sincere in Emily's voice that Sandy couldn't refuse. "You've always lived a privileged life. After your mother died giving birth to you, your father devoted himself to raising you. He loved you deeply and gave you everything you wanted." Emily listened without interrupting. "But as you grew older..." Sandy hesitated, choosing her words carefully, "...you became difficult. You looked down on people who weren't as wealthy as you. Most students avoided you because they were afraid of your temper." Emily lowered her eyes. "I was really like that?" Sandy nodded. "Then you became friends with Jane. The two of you caused trouble almost every week." Emily sighed softly. "I'm sorry." The apology caught Sandy completely off guard. "You've... never apologized before." Emily gave a weak smile. "Maybe losing my memories wasn't entirely a bad thing." For the first time since the crash, Sandy smiled back. "There was one person you never gave up on." "Who?" "Matthew." "The senior?" "Yes. One of the smartest students in school." Emily waited patiently. "You liked him." "Loved him?" "I think so." "And he didn't feel the same way?" Sandy shook her head. "He rejected you every time." Emily laughed quietly. "Then I'll stop chasing him." Sandy stared at her in disbelief. "The old Emily would never have said that." "Maybe the old Emily is gone." The words hung in the air. Neither of them noticed how strangely quiet the island had become. Even the laughter outside had faded. Only the sound of waves rolling onto the shore remained. After a while, Emily stretched and lay down. "I'm exhausted." Sandy pulled a blanket over them. "Get some sleep." Within minutes, Emily drifted off. --- Several hours later, she awoke. The camp was silent. Moonlight spilled across the beach, turning the ocean into a sheet of silver. Without waking Sandy, Emily slipped outside. The cool breeze brushed against her skin as she walked slowly toward the shoreline. Something about the sea drew her closer. It felt... familiar. Then she heard it. "Emily..." She froze. The voice was gentle. Soft. Almost comforting. "Who's there?" she whispered. No answer came. Only the whisper of the waves. Then the voice returned. "My child..." Emily's heart began to pound. The voice sounded warm... almost motherly. "I've come to take you home." Emily stared into the darkness beyond the water. "I can't see you." "Come closer." She took one cautious step. The waves rolled gently against the sand. "Just a little closer." Emily stopped. A strange feeling settled in her chest. Something wasn't right. If this voice truly wanted to help her... Why was it hiding? She took a slow step backward. "I'm not coming." The gentle tone instantly changed. "You must." "No." The air suddenly became cold. Very cold. Emily's instincts screamed at her to run. She turned away from the sea and hurried back toward the camp, unable to shake the feeling that something beneath the dark water had been watching her all along. Emily hurried away from the shoreline, her pulse racing. The voice had vanished. Only the waves remained, washing quietly over the sand as though nothing had happened. She stopped beside a cluster of palm trees and glanced back at the sea. Nothing. No figure. No boat. No light. Just darkness. "Emily?" She spun around. A girl about her age stood a few metres away, wrapped in a towel. "You startled me," the girl said with a nervous laugh. "Couldn't sleep either?" Emily forced a smile. "I guess not." The girl looked toward the ocean. "I thought I'd go for a swim. The water looks peaceful tonight." Emily's expression changed instantly. "No." The girl frowned. "What?" "Don't go into the water." The girl folded her arms. "Why not?" Emily hesitated. How could she explain something she barely understood herself? "I... heard someone calling me." The girl's smile faded. "Someone?" "A woman's voice." "There isn't anyone out there." "I know what I heard." The girl shrugged. "You're probably still confused after the crash." She started walking toward the shore. Emily hurried after her. "Please," she said. "Just wait until morning." The girl stopped. "You don't get to tell me what to do." Before Emily could answer, another whisper drifted across the beach. "Come..." Emily's blood ran cold. There it was again. The same voice. Soft. Patient. Waiting. The other girl didn't react. It was as if she couldn't hear it. Emily realized the whisper was meant for her alone. "Come..." The sea looked different now. The moonlight reflected across its surface like countless tiny eyes. Emily grabbed the girl's wrist. "Don't." The girl pulled away. "Enough!" Her raised voice echoed across the campsite. Tent flaps opened one after another as sleepy students stepped outside. "What happened?" "Why are they arguing?" A teacher hurried over, rubbing his eyes. "What's going on here?" Emily pointed toward the water. "Nobody should go near the sea tonight." Several students exchanged puzzled glances. "Why?" Emily shook her head. She didn't know how to explain it. but she knew something was wrong. The female student that came out to swim scoffed. "There's nothing wrong. She just wants to make us feel like she owns the place cause she is rich" Emily frowned. "Fine, go" The teacher nodded at the student. "You can go swim, we'll be here." His assurance made the girl to nod, she glared at Emily, turned and walked towards the sea, she was going closer and closer and closer. "Yes, come closer, just a touch, walk faster before it is too late." Emily frowned, she looked around and it seemeds like she was the only one hearing the voic. She sighed and muttered. "I tried." Everyone was looking at the girl that was walking closer and closer to the sea, they all wanted to laugh at Emily, when she go and comes out safe, the teacher was feeling uneasy, but didn't know the reason. When the water touched the girl's leg, the voice started laughing. The girl suddenly started yelling, "Aaahhhhh, help! Please help me!" The teacher rushed immediately towards her, he was walking closer and closer, but suddenly stopped, something landed on his feet. He looked down and found the head of the girl. He gulped and stepped away from the water. Emily heard the voice again, "Mmm delicious." "I warned you all, I don't remember anything, but I do know this island is dangero. The student died because of all of you." she turned and walked towards her tent. She really hates the fact she can't remember anything. She wants to know who she is. The students walked inside their tents and closed it, sleep was far from them, what happened tonight was scary for them, everyone was awake till the morning sun hit their tents and that is when they decided to sleep
