No Escape: the mysterious island

Chapter 4: Hollowgasts.

Emily groaned and opened her eyes, she hates morning.... she stood up and stretched while yawning.

"Sandy?"

She looked beside her and couldn't find her friend anywhere. She frowned and yawned again. She walked towards the entrance and opened it. Someone's back was facing her, "Who?"

"Emily!" Sandy who was standing in front of the tent entrance turned and smiled when she heard Emily's voice, "You've woken!"

Emily smiled at her and nodded, but she frowned when she look up and saw almost every student were looking at her, she raised her eyebrows, "What?"

Mr Jordan, the GYM teacher opened his mouth to say something, but one of the student was quick to talk, "How can a young lady sleep till afternoon? you were the one that asked us to leave this island, but you wouldn't wake up on time."

Emily ignored the student and turned to Sandy, "Did you eat? I'm starving."

Sandy shook her head, "We have to leave before it gets dark, I will cook when we camp."

Emily nodded, gulped and looked away, 'Too cute, too dangerous.'

Thirty minute later.

Every tent were removed, Sandy found the remote and gave it to Emily, she pressed a random button and her tent became so small that it can actually fit in her Jean's pocket.

"Absurd." Emily muttered, she can't believe that actually happened.

"Show off."

Emily heard the same voice that rebuked her when she woke up, she shrugged without looking back. Mr Jordan gathered the student and told them to queue and walk in group, he warned them not to leave their line.

Getting the nod he wanted, he turned and lead them into the forest with no direction of where he was going.

One hour later.

"Are we not there yet?"

"I'm tired."

"Me too."

"Me three."

Emily sighed, she too was tired, she has never walked this far, even when she was accepting missions she was provided a car.

"Emilyyyy."

Emily turned to Sandy, "What?" she asked.

"Huh?"

"Why did you call me?"

Sandy widened her eyes, "I didn't, no one called your name."

Emily frowned, "Then who did?" she muttered.

"We will camp here!" Mr Jordan yelled making the students to sigh in relief.

"Not here!!"

"Ahhh!" Emily held her ear, the scream was loud, everyone turned and looked at her.

"I don't think we should camp here." Emily says still holding her ear, the voice she heard just now was the same with the one she heard when she first opened her eyes to this place.

"What?"

"no!!"

"I'm tired!"

"I can't walk anymore!"

Everybody began protesting.

Mr Jordan sighed, he wished he had followed the other teachers when they decided to go into the forest the first day they got here, speaking of the teachers, where are they?

"Jordan?"

Mr Jordan's thought was cut short when someone tapped his shoulder. He turned and saw Emily looking at him without blinking, her face was smiling but it didn't reach her eyes, 'Wait, did she just call him by his name?'

"I'm not staying here with you guys, follow or stay?"

Mr Jordan looked at the exhausted students, "We will camp here tonight, I won't repeat myself, no one is leaving."

Emily smirked, "Bye." she turned and held Sandy's hand and tried walking away, but before she would move she heard the same voice.

"No!!!"

"Ahhh!" Emily held her ear and fell down, "Motherfucker!" she yelled.

"What the f**k do you want?" she yelled to no one in particular.

"Together."

"They don't want to go, what am I to do?" Emily yelled. She regretted it, she regretted making that stupid wish.

If she would go back in time, she wouldn't have make that stupid wish.

"Must go together."

"What the f**k? they won't listen to me!" she yelled again.

Everyone that was watching this were surprised, Emily looked like a crazy girl.

Sandy bent down, "Emily?" she sobbed.

"Must go together, must go together, must go together, must go together, must go together."

"Shut the f**k up, I f*****g understand!" Emily yelled, when she couldn't hear the voice anymore she stood up, looked at Sandy's worried face and smiled.

She turned to Mr Jordan and smiled, "We will camp here then."

"No!!" the voice yelled again.

"If you yell again, I will make myself deaf." Emily warned the unknown voice. She pulled out the small tent thingy and placed it on the ground, she pulled her remote and pressed a random button, her tent became big, she sighed and walk inside it without glancing at anyone.

NIGHT.

Emily was sleeping peacefully when she heard a scream, she woke up immediately and frowned, "Please, just let me sleep."

She looked beside her and smiled, Sandy was sleeping peacefully, she stood up and walked outside her tent, everyone has already gathered around.

"What's going on?" she questioned while yawing.

Mr Jordan looked at her, "Three students are missing."

"Three?" she muttered, "How did it happen? I thought everyone was told to stay together?" she asked no one in particular while looking at their faces.

"Haaaaaaaaa."

Emily, the students and Mr Jordan simultaneously turned at the direction where the voice came from, without wasting any time they ran towards the place.

When they arrived, they saw a blonde screaming while looking up at the tree, they followed her eyes and what they saw almost caused them to vomit.

Two people were hanging on the tree, there lower body were cut and it was dripping of blood, two of their eye balls were plucked off and if one look closely their would discovered that their skulls were cracked open.

Everyone shuddered from fear, fear would be seen in Emily's eyes, she has never dealt with everything supernatural before.

Even when she was talking to Rain, she was scared but not this type of fear.

"What happened?" Mr Jordan's voice broke the silence.

"I...I...I don't know." the girl that kneeling on the floor answered, "I went with Max to look for some fruit, but we got lost on the way, I turned to ask Max some question but I couldn't find him anywhere, I ran and came here, that's when I discovered Max and Fiona's body like this." she sobbed.

Her story didn't make sense, Emily looked at her and frowned, the two were attacked but she wasn't?

Something is wrong and Emily knows that, she looked at the girls eyes and her eyes widened, her eyes were pitch black, was she the only one seeing this?

As if the girl knew that Emily was staring at her, she looked at Emily.

Emily shuddered from fear when the girls eyes met hers.

A boy from the group went towards the girl to help her up, but he became startled when he heard Emily telling him not take a step towards the girl.

The boy turned and frowned, "Really Emily? you want to do this right now? the poor girl is shocked and you want no one helping her? I'm disappointed."

Emily frowned, the girl looks inhuman she in fact looked dead to her, "Just come back here."

Mr Jordan was confused, should he go and help the girl or just listen to Emily? he look around seeing nothing but trees, which of course would be the only thing he would see cause they are inside the forest.

"Talk to him Jordan." Emily turned and looked at the GYM teacher, who was standing beside her with a confuse face.

"Just trust me on this Jordan!" she yelled at him, her arrogance is gone..... this is not the time to be arrogant, these people with her are just teenagers that just started living their lives, she doesn't want them to die just because they are stupid.

"Mr Jordan?" an Asian girl turned to the GYM teacher, "Let just listen to her." she had seen Emily warning them about a lot of things, which ended up being just as she had said.

Emily turned to the girl and smiled at her, at least someone is smart.

Before Mr Jordan can say something, they all heard a scream.

"Haaaaaaa!"

They suddenly turned and discovered that the boy that was standing not too far from them had been cut in half, his eyes were already plucked out and was being eaten by the blonde who was sobbing a minute ago.

The blond girl looked at them and giggled, "Tasty." she licked her lips, suddenly she yelled and started sobbing, "I.. I... I.. don't know what happened to him."

"Kill now!!"

Emily held her ear in pain, the voice is back again, but she had no time to waste. She turned and saw that the GYM teacher was holding an axe.

She rushed towards him, grabbed his axe and without thinking twice she cut off the girl's head.

"Ahhhh!"

"Oh my God!"

"Haaaaa!"

"f**k!"

Everyone started yelling, the girl fell down while looking at Emily's face that was dripping with blood.

"If you don't listen to me from now onwards, I will be leaving you for death."

She drooped the axe turned and leave without looking back, she went inside her tent removed her clothes and took a bath then she went off to sleep.

No one slept that night everyone was awake and scared of falling asleep.

The next morning, Emily woke up with Sandy and they continued their journey, no one talked about what happened last night and no one cares to bring it up.
