CHAPTER 30

The news about the Fairy Immortal started to spread upto the Heaven Realm. The possibility of the Princess who is still alive gave them hope for the expected rise of the Vermillion Phoenix.

The King of Heaven Realm Malik and his wife and Queen Lisorette for the first time aside from their daughter being born, felt so happy and started to prepare for their departure to see their long lost Princess.

But their plans was interrupted with Silver— Malik's cousin and godfather of Princess Harriet— when he paid a visit.

"It's been a long time, Silver." Malik greeted Silver with his warm smile.

Silver bowed down to him and started to speak for his intention of his visit.

"I am here, my King, to tell you what happened to the Princess for the past years she was absent in the palace." Silver started.

"Go on. Me and the Queen will listen to you." Malik approached his cousin to speak.

"Thank you, my King, my Queen." He paused and heaved a sigh before starting his storytelling.

"After her abduction. Me and the third Prince Dark teamed up to search for the Princess at the Mortal Realm..."

He told them his discoveries and meet up of Harriet. He also told them the case of her being poisoned by Timothy Top to erase her memories. The couple are furious, but they collected themselves and continue listening to Silver.

Silver also tell them her improvement and challenges she faced. He is regretful that he didn't managed to rescue her at that time. He also told them who are the men who became interested with the Princess aside of Dark.

And last but not the least, he also tell them how the Princess reacted when she learned about her identity and her parents didn't rescue her at the time she needed them.

The two are full of sorrow and regrets. They both wished that if they can control the time, they will change it and instead of Silver, they will be the one who will personally look for their child. But, past is past. All they need to do now is to try to reach out for their long lost child.

But, Silver strongly opposed it.

"Why?" Lisorette asked him hopelessly.

"My Queen. It is better for us to make the Princess remember you from the lost memories of her. I'm afraid that she cannot take a heavy blow by your appearance."

"Are you ordering us to not see our daughter?"

"No, my Queen. I didn't tell that you cannot nor forbidden to see the Princess. But all I want to say is that, you can observe her from afar by the magic enchantment. So that you can learn how her life turned when she escaped from the grasp of Timothy Top and the Area 666." He defended.

Lisorette calmed down and thought about Silver's proposal. Malik saw his wife calmed down and he knows that it isn't because of his cousin, but about his daughter.

They started to set up the magic mirror. With the power of heaven and earth, the Yin and Yang, they finally succeeded on forming the magic mirror. And with the help of Harriet's hair, they finally located and watched their daughter teaching and playing with the mortal children.

Lisorette leaned to her husband and began to cry while covering her mouth. Malik unconsciously cried too with no sound. He dried it up immediately and started to watch his daughter who is now prettier than her mother.

"I have to trouble the King to send an envoy to the Underworld Realm to obtain the antidote for the poison of the Princess. The sooner, the better." Silver said to Malik who is still watching his daughter by the magic mirror.

He turned to Silver and called his Imperial General Paris. He ordered Paris to accompany Silver to the Underworld Realm to obtain the antidote for his daughter's cure.

And when the envoy left the realm, the couple stayed in front of the mirror, watching their only daughter with a bunch of human kids around her.

"What do you want teacher to make?" Harriet asked the children while playing at the couple of stones flying and on her hand.

"Master! You told us that you can only grant a wish per day. Whose wish will you grant today?" Kyle asked.

"Tommy's."

"Yey! Finally! I can make a wish to teacher!" Tommy jumped happily.

Among her students, the only children that wishes aren't being granted, Tommy is the naughtiest that's why she wants him to be the last kid thay wishes would be granted.

Evans, Louie, Crow and Dark came and watch Tommy and Harriet talk about his wish. They are interested with it because at the past two weeks, she started to grant her student's wishes.

"Uhm." Tommy started to fidget and nervously played with his fingers.

"What is it, Tommy?" Harriet asked.

"Uhm. Master. My wish is that..." He looked around and added, "please be happy with the City Lord!"

Harriet and Evans are shocked with Tommy's wish. Dark and Crow's faces darkened but stayed silent.

"The City Lord didn't know this, Master. No one bribed me. Its just that... We don't care if you have someone in mind to be with forever. We want you and City Lord be happy together. And bear babies for us to protect and play with. You and him are immortals! You are perfect for each other, Master! Please don't go back in your word and grant my wish!" Tommy explained.

Harriet smiled at the little kid and rub his head. She took a glance toward the other kids who are looking at her expectantly. She sighed and left the kids without saying anything.

Evans and the group saw that. They climbed down the trees they are lurking in and take the kids to their houses with the reasons of Harriet didn't look well.

The kids parents become worried. But seeing their beloved City Lord with the Fairy Immortal, they felt a sudden relief in their hearts.

Meanwhile, after Harriet got home, she shut herself from the outside and brought her pets inside.

No one knows what's up but they didn't even dare to meddle with her business with the fear of harming her instead of helping her.

But the four men who are following her are worried. Especially Dark who've just experienced this thing from her for the first time. He started to wonder if Silver and Crow experienced it before. He's a bit jealous of them if so.

Despite of receiving nothing. Evans ordered Louie to made their maids serve food Harriet. But a day already passed and no signs of Harriet appeared out from the house.

While they men are waiting for her to come out. Harriet is just sitting on the floor with her pets around her. Feeling their Master, they made the best effort to serve her well and ease the burdens their Master is shouldering. Harriet can't help but to be gratified to her pets efforts.

She closed her eyes and bit her lips as the surge of power started to come out from her body. Her lips started to bleed that made her pets more worried. They didn't leave her side, hoping that they can share her burdens and pains.

Veins on her head started to appear. Her hands are bleeding nonstop because of her nails digging up her skin. She suppressed from screaming or releasing any sounds to avoid any attention from the outside. Her tears started to stream down on her cheeks because of the unbearable pain she is experiencing.

Her sufferings made her parents be conflicted from the other side of the magic mirror. They want to help her but hearing Silver's reminder, Lisorette shut her eyes for her not to witness the sufferings of her child.

Back to Harriet, the time passes and the power inside started to become larger and larger that Harriet cannot breath anymore. But for the sake of her dream, and her student's wishes and safety, she endured it until a couple of weeks passed by quickly.

On the other side, Steven also joined the party and waited for Harriet to come out. Even though he is an immortal, depicting what is happening inside of Harriet's house is difficult for him. Especially to her special identity.

The citizens of the Area 667 also paid a visit and also waited for her to come out. They are worried about her and assume that maybe, she's tired of them. But even though they have these assumptions, they still paid a visit to them as to show respect and gratitude towards the Fairy Immortal.

Tommy walked towards Evans and Dark. He is crying while sniffing. He pulled their clothes as to catch their attention.

"City Lord, Sir Prince. Please forgive me for giving Master a hard time. It's just that we want to see Master happy. We thought pairing her up with Mr. City Lord will be okay but my mother said that the Fairy Immortal can have many hubby. I am sorry if because of me, Master secluded herself. I guess she is angry with my wish. Please be her hubby, City Lord, Sir Prince. I know that you can make our Master live a happy life." Tommy sobbed.

His explanation called the attention of his classmates. They also joined Tommy and begged the two men and cried so loud that even their parents can't hold back either.

Evans knelt in front of Tommy and smiled at him. "You are not at fault, Tommy. There must be a reason why your Master become like this. Have you forgotten that she is powerful? You'll see, she will go out and play with you again and enjoy the snow that she is making every after class." Evans coaxed.

"We will make her happy, young lad. Weather you made the wish or not." For the first time, Dark smiled at a kid.

He mostly smiles whenever Harriet is around. But appreciating Tommy's explanation and good intention, he smiled at Tommy with his heart. If sharing Harriet to Evans will be safer than him alone, so be it as long as Harriet will be safe and sound forever.

Their chatters stopped when the door opened. They expected that their Fairy Immortal will come out. But instead of Harriet, a bunny and a cat came out. They walked and hopped toward Tommy and the two gentlemen. To their surprise, the two pets of Harriet started to speak.

"Master wants to tell you that she is hungry, City Lord." The cat said.

"Master also wants to tell Tommy that her seclusion has nothing to do with his wishes." The bunny coaxed Tommy. It rubbed his soft white fur against Tommy's skin to comfort him. Tommy hugged the bunny and felt relieved.

"How come you are talking?" Crow suddenly popped out from the crowd. The crowd gave him, Louie and Steven their ways when they realized that.

"Master's powers has awakened." The cat replied.

"Again." The bunny added.

"Again?" Steven is dumbfounded with this discovery.

The citizens felt relieved when they learned about this. They thought that their Fairy Immortal is angry, but it turns out that the seclusion is because of the awakening of her powers.

"Yes. She can now control animals." The cat said.

"And create a special barrier." The bunny added.

"That's why we can't hear her nor feel her." Steven concluded.

"Master City Lord, Sir. We will trouble you to prepare foods for Master. She is already famished and out of energy and blood because of the power awakening." The cat begged.

"She have the final immortal transformation. Her true form. That's why her force is almost depleted. She's also drained but the power is still surging from her body. She is surpressing her voice from the beginning to not let you worried about her." The bunny added.

The five men felt a pity towards Harriet. They began to move as well as the villagers. They prepared food for the Fairy Immortal who is still undergoing into a big change.

Her wings snapped open. It became white with some touches of bloody red. Her nine tails turned out like it too. Her long hair straightened and also half of its length turned red like her wings and tails. Her eyes who are blue like the ocean also made a big change. Her left eye turned silver while the right eye turned to vermillion.

Her final transformation gave her parents a shock from the other side of the magic mirror. But the thing they are more shocked about is that... She started to talk to them.

"If you want to come down in here. Come down. I will not make it hard for you. But I hope you can make a proper explanation to me. Mom. Dad."

The rise of the Jade Vermillion Phoenix was witnessed by them. And the most important thing is, their child is starting to cope up with them.
