Jack POV
I was sleeping when I hear my phone ringing that night. I looked at the watch it was only 1 am. I reach my phone and looked the caller ID, It was Sam.
"Ya Sam?" I answer his phone with my eyes closed. I was just sleep for 2 hour.
" Jack, Alexa..."
" Alexa? What about her?" I opened my eyes and stood up from my bed right away when I hear Sam saying her name. I have a bad feeling if Sam gave me news about her in this hours.
" Someone broke to the safe house" he said. What? How is that possible?
" What? How is she? Is she okay?" I asked him. I was so worried about her.
I run fast to my closed and wear my pants and shirt in rushed. I had to go there and see her.
" I think you should came here" Sam told me.
" Okay, I'll be right there." I told him and hanged up the phone.
Someone broke the safe house? How was that possible? How is she? Is she okay? Sam didn't tell me how is her condition.
I took my wallet, my gun and my car key right away and run outside to my car.
I kept thinking about her. I was so worried.
I drove fast to the safe house. It took me almost 20 minutes to get there. Sam and US Marshals already in the scene.
A US Marshal agent tried to stop me from entering the safe house, and I showed him my badge, and he let me in.
Sam walked fast to me when he saw me.
" Where is she Sam? " I asked him.
" Come with me" he told me to followed him inside the safe house.
I walked passing medical staff carrying body bag. I stopped and looked at the body bag they carried. My heart stop to beat and the worst thought slip in my head. Please, I hope it wasn't her.
" It was Marshals man. " Sam said to me as he know what was in my thought.
I was glad It wasn't her but I felt sorry for the Marshal man. Sometimes our job had to risk our own live to protect other people.
" Tell me Sam, is she alive?" I asked him holding his shoulder tight. I need to know, before I saw the worst that might happen.
" For now. She is missing Jack." Sam said. Missing? What is that mean?
" What do you mean? Did they took her?" I asked again.
" I don't think so. Let's get inside " he told me as he grab my arm.
We walked inside and saw the house was in a mess. I was getting nervous to find that this was a total messed, blood everywhere, agent died and she was missing.
A man with black bodysuit laying died in the floor. I know that man, he was one of the assassin Fed been looking for.
" That's the intruder. " Sam said, his eyes pointed to the assassin in the floor.
" Who did that? " I asked him. I thought it must be one of the Marshals.
" Alexa" Sam said.
What? Alexa did that? She killed that man? I was surprised.
" Are you sure?" I asked him for confirmation.
" Yes." He said without hesitation
" This way, I'll showed you." Sam told me to followed him walked.
We walked to the security room at the safe house. Supervisor Pearson and men from US Marshals already there. We watch from the security camera tape what happen.
" Where did she learn all that move?" Pearson asked me when he saw Alexa fighting with the intruder.
" Max teach her" I said. Where else she know about that. She slammed me once back then when I caught her stealing that necklace.
" She save Marshal Jean Lambert" Supervisor Pearson said. Yes, she did save her.
" I need to talked to you both" Pearson told Sam and I after we finished watching the tape. We followed Pearson outside the room, and we stop in the corner.
" Jack, do you know where she could be?" Pearson asked me.
"I don't know where she is. She never been here." I said. I really don't know.
" We need to find her. She is not save, and we need her to fight against Black. You know how big is this case. We can't lose her." Pearson said.
" The US Marshals will search for her, but I want you and Sam to find her in personal. You two know her better than anyone else here. " he said.
" And I want you two to report direct to me. " he said to Sam and I.
" Yes, sir " we both answered.
And he dismissed us.
" Do you have any idea where to looked?" Sam asked me.
" No, I don't know Sam. I can't think right now" I said as I really don't know where to find her. I was worried, and it desperated me that I don't know where to find her.
I wished I gave her my address or my phone number. She must have been scare and run in shocked.
" She is scare, she never killed anyone before" I said. Sam sighed.
" Okay, let's go to city controller, we might find something there." he said.
" You go there, I will find Harry." I said.
" Harry who?" Sam asked me
" Harry is max's friend. He know her in person." I said.
" Okay, let me know if you get something" Sam said
" Okay." and we split ways.
I asked my friend in the headquarter to find Harry Perkins phone number. It took awhile until he find it for me.
I called him right away. I don't care if it was still late at night.
" Ya, who is this?" he answered the phone with sleepy voice. It was only 3 am.
" It's Jack Hampton." I said
" The Fbi?" He asked in surprised
" Yes." I answered him shortly.
" It's about Alexa isn't it? Is she okay? " he asked me in high curiousity.
" Something happen, and she is missing. "
" What? How? You said you will protect her! "
" She was in witness protection. I thought she would be safe. " I told him.
" Damn it! Did they took her? " he asked me worried about Alexa safety.
" I don't think so. She run away. She was scare. Do you know where she might be?"
" When was it happen?"
" 4 hour ago."
" and where is it?"
" Clarksburg, West Virginia ."
" I think she still around there. Check the bus station. Meanwhile I will check on max cabin, she might go there. And if she called, I will let you know." he said
" Okay, please let me know. "I told him
" You better find her Hampton" He said before he hanged up.
I drove my car as I looked around and slowing my car when I saw a woman. But it wasn't her.
I went to the nearest bus station from the safe house. I asked the ticket counter about her. I showed him her picture but he said he didn't saw her. I looked around for half hour in the station, check every bus, but she isn't there. Where were you Alexa?
I know she is still alive somewhere, Alexa is a fighter, she will survive. She had to!

It's been 4 days since she had been missing. I never been so worried like this. I promise I will protect her, but now, I can't even know where she is. The Fbi and US marshals already looked for her in every hotel and motel around the town, the airport, bus station, everywhere, but we can't find her. Even Harry said he can't find her in Max cabin. And she didn't call him.
Alexa, let me know where you are. I know you are still alive.
And then my phone ringing. It was Sam. I picked up his phone call immediately.
" Yes Sam?" I answered his phone called. I hope he got some good news.
" We spot her Jack. She took a bus 2 days ago to Charlotte, North Carolina." he said. North Carolina? Why would she go there for? It was to danger for her to go there, The Black lives in North Carolina.
" Are you sure?" I asked him.
" Yes, I saw her buy the ticket from the CCTV, and I confirmed with the ticket counter. It was her." Sam convince me.
Why Alexa? Why you go there? What are you up to?
"Can you get me a plane to Charlotte?" I asked Sam
" I'll check. But Jack, do you know why she go there? And where she go?" he asked me again
" I'm not sure Sam. Please get me a plane to Charlotte ASAP" I told him. I had a bad feeling about this.
" Okay, I'll called you in few minutes." he said and then hanged up the phone.
Why are you up to Alexa? Why make your self an easy target?
My phone ring again, woke me up from my thought. It was Harry. I picked up right away.
" Yes Harry?" I called his name. I hope he gave me a good news
" I know where she is Jack! " Harry said.
" Charlotte North Carolina?" I asked him, make sure he got the same info with Sam.
"Yes, but you must find her now, before it's too late!" he told me, he voice were worried. I just know that she had planned something bad.
