I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease as I made my way to the old warehouse at midnight. The message had been clear: come alone. I had tried to convince Leo to let me go with him, but he had refused. "It's too dangerous," he had said. "I won't let you put yourself in harm's way." I knew that I had to go. I had to face Victor once and for all. But as I looked at the message, I couldn't help but wonder if he was walking into a trap. I made up my mind to meet him alone, before the date of attack.
