How life can turn from happiness to misery in just a blink of the eye
Talyla Raine's a fifteen year old teenager that has seen pain at to young of an age. She was the light of her father's eye. Her mother Olivia did her best to teach her all the things a woman would need to learn for when she found her mate, but Talyla was head strong and wanted to know how to be strong like her father Adrian. He was the Beta of the pack, so it made it easy for her to naturally want to be a strong beta female. Every day her father Adrian and brother Maddox would take her in the woods to the clearing to spare and train. The one day her brother had a meeting was the night her life changed for the worst. She was at the clearing sparing with her father when they smelt the foul smell of rogues. Adrian tried to make Talyla run home, but when she turned to go it was to late. They had surrounded them. She was nervous. She knew she was strong thanks to all the years of sparing and training. Her weakness was she didnt have her wolf yet. She was strong and resilient, but she knew these wolves were stronger and out for blood. Adrian held tightly to Talylas hand. He told her to fight her way through and run as soon as she could and he would hold as many as he could off. She fought her hardest, but she was no match for 3 rogues at one time. Her mother Olivia showed up freaking out yelling that the Alpha was on his way. When Olivia seen Talyla and Adrain fighting she knew it would be to late. She ran while transforming into her wolf to kill the wolf's going after Talyla. Talyla got distracted seeing her mom running towards her and that gave the rogue the perfect shot to claw her stomach and throw her into a tree knocking her out. Her father killed him by ripping his throat out, but when he turned he seen his mate fall to the ground lifeless. The pain he felt as he ripped them apart trying to get to her ended up making him fall to the ground and that gave the rogues the perfect opportunity to kill him. Talyla came to and smelt all the blood. She looked around and saw her parents lifeless bodys laying together. She seen they were holding hands. She fell to the ground screaming, crying, and all alone. She heard a bunch of people coming towards her and knew it was the pack. When she seen Maddox she ran to him and fell into his arms. He looked at his parents and fell to the ground in grief. He pulled Talyla back and asked what happened. She told him all she knew until she was knocked out. He held her and they cried. That was until the Alpha blamed Talyla for the death of her parents. He said if she wasnt so hardheaded on learning a man's job they wouldnt of been out in the woods defenseless against that many rogues. You just dont know your place and because of that you got your parents lives in your hands. I lost my beta thanks to you and now your going to learn life the hard way. Talyla cried and looked to her brother for help, but Maddox just threw her away from him and gave her a murderous stare. This is all your fault. I told you I had a meeting and you couldn't wait one day without sparing. If you weren't so selfish and stayed home they'd still be alive. I f*****g hate you Talyla and you're f*****g dead to me. You died along with our parents. I hope your happy and reap what you sow. Take her away shes done enough. The Alpha told his men to take her to the attic in the pack house and lock her in. Talyla I hope you enjoy your new room. I'll be up later to explain exactly how life will be from now on. All she could do was put her head down while being dragged away and cry. That was the beginning of how her life turned into misery
This is my first attempt at a story! I'll be adding chapters as fast as I can, but I do work full time and have a family that comes first. I've always enjoyed shifter books and I'm writing it how I've always imagined my favorite one to be. Yes theres violence, s*x, strong language, and abuse, but we all have to endure pain in life at some point to become survivors and once you have enough self love and strength nothing can break you or tear you down! This is all mine from my mind and heart. I dont mind criticism. We all have opinions and minds, but please dont make overly judgemental comments. Not everyone will approve or agree, but if you take the time to truly read it you'll see for yourself that us woman are heroines and more powerful than anything we face! Thanks
