"I think we are done for today" I say to Echo once I realize the sun is about to set. I look at myself and realize what a mess I am as well.
Note to self stock up on extra clothing,towels, and toiletries for the garden house so I don't have to come back to the pack house looking like I do now.
Echo seems a little sad that we are stopping but doesn't say anything.
"You can come back to the pack house with me and stay if you want."
" Ha that's funny, I wouldn't be a guest if I did that I'd be a prisoner. I've been there and done that so not interested, Princess."
He's only 12. How has he been living? I want to know his story but he only shares little bits here and there. My heart hurts thinking about it. My eyes are starting to tear up. Do not cry now. He wouldn't like it.
