CHAPTER TWELVE

Lyon waited for almost thirty minutes before two policemen came into the room,they didn't look aggressive in any way and they simply took Jasper without even a word to wither Lyon or Benita.

"You got the wrong guy, he's the victim,this guy hit him for no reason at all" Benita quickly stepped forward and glanced at Lyon.

Lyon looked at him and thought "did she even loved me before,how can she protect a criminal just to make sure I'm miserable?" He chuckled sadly.

"No we didn't, he's a r****t unless you can call a r****t the victim" replied another man who walked into the room,also in a uniform.

"r****t? Are you mistaken? The only person that can turn out to be a r****t here is this pauper,he acts creepy and even came here to beat my boyfriend because we broke up,my boyfriend is completely innocent" Benita frowned, displeased.

"Shut up woman,are you teaching us how to do our jobs? Do you think we would simply arrest someone without evidence? Or are you trying to cover up for him? Are you an accomplice?" The third man said coldly.

Benita could only shut up and watch as they took Jasper away, she's obviously scared of being alone with lyon.

"I will die if anything happens to Jasper,he promised to buy me a car soon, nothing can happen to him. That bastard Lyon just had to beat him,dream crusher!"

She wanted to rush after them but realized she's only in a towel so she stopped.

She suddenly turned to Lyon angrily "what did you tell the police,why are you doing this? Look,let me tell you, there's no way I'm going back to you,your little tricks won't work and just wait until Jasper's parents find out about this,you will die without a complete body" she said coldly.

Lyon glanced at her indifferently ,stood up and prepared to leave but Benita stopped him angrily. He really must have been blind to actually think Benita was an easy going and sweet person before.

"Who sent you? Let me tell you,you are simply being used,is it some rich guy who sent you? Promised money and protection in return? That's total nonsense,he won't do that,pauper like you don't know the struggles between rich families" she continued ranting.

"First and foremost,I didn't come here because of you, second we don't need to get back together, and I will never do anything to get back with a lady like you,I wonder if I was blind before " Lyon said and laughed at himself, he's really blind before.

He gently brushed her aside and left the room while Benita continued ranting behind him even after he left "that damn bastard! How dare he say such a thing to me? I hate him so much" she said fuming.

Lyon went down to the reception and met Mr Avi who smiled sadly when he saw him "young master" he called out "have you taken down all the video and pictures of Jason's sister?" He asked instead.

"Yes,we compensated his families and the victim in your name as well and they already saw the pictures and video you also uploaded and I informed them Jasper will spend some time in jail,they are not happy but okay with it," replied Mr Avi.

Lyon nodded "I have classes today so I will be off to class" he said about leaving " the master wants you to come to the capital when you are free" said Mr Avi "I'm not free" Lyon replied directly and left the hotel.

Lyon went to the college immediately and went to his lecture room,he received a lot of weird glances because of the car and the way he dressed and probably because he got a bandaged head and a bandaged hand.

The moment he got into the lecture room,he met Jason alone in the class,the other students won't be here until five minutes later, he's always known to be in class ten minutes or even more before the set time for any lecture.

Jason smiled the moment he saw him "Lyon" he walked up to him and hugged him tightly "thank you, thank you" he smiled .

"That happened because of me,I knew I couldn't return your sister's chastity because I hope the little I did take that bad incident off her mind "Lyon said.

Jason nodded "I understand and Jasper's family is not an easy one at all,I heard they are the Norman family,be careful,don't offend people because of my sister's issue" Jason said.

"It's ok,and even if he's a Norman, he's a disgrace in my opinion,none of the Norman family act like local tyrants or even commit such a crime "said Lyon.

Jason nodded and then they sat down today, discussing some things while waiting for the class to begin.

"Why did you hide your identity? You won't be bullied so blatantly if you didn't hide your identity" Jason asked curiously.

Lyon simply smiled and didn't reply to that,the class for the day was over by evening and Lyon decided to visit Jason's sister at the hospital.

She was transferred to a private hospital already so he's going with Jason. "Your butler is so nice,he didn't even allow anyone to see her when she moved,he wanted her to get more comfortable before anything else" he said and Lyon smiled.

They both went to the hospital in their own cars and Lyon went into the ward with Jason.

"And this is?" Jason's mom asked the moment she saw Lyon, he's dressed quite richly so the woman was guarded.

"Lyon ,mom,the one I told you about this morning "replied Jason and his mom's eyes brightened immediately.

Lyon greeted her while she repeatedly thanked him,their family can not be called poor but beside the Norman family they are like ants so knowing Lyon stood up to jasper,she knew his identity must be on par with that of jasper.

They chatted for a while before Lyon talked to Jason's sister as well and then he left the hospital.

He was going to go back home immediately but then he changed his mind and decided to just go to a late beach.

He used to go to the beach once in a while when he's with his mom,he missed her so much and he could only blame his dad for her death even though he didn't have anything to do with her death.

He went to a late beach after finding a suitable location and went there all dressed up. He was going to have some fun and think of his mom tonight .

His mom was the only person in his life before and since she was gone,he hardly has any fun.

His mom always finds a way for him to have fun even when he only wants to focus on being the best student in his studies. "Mom,I really missed you," he sighed. "I wish you are still here" he added sadly.
