I took another sip of my water as I waited . "You don't think he's coming"? My coworker at Sizzle Up who too was a journalist asked.

"Girl I was here for a hour and he hasn't showed what I don't understand is why fly me out here just to stand me up. He is so living up to what people say about him right now".

"Maybe something happened" she said trying to make light of the situation.

"He has my email he could've easily emailed me".

She laughed "still can't believe he got you waiting, but you need this interview s**t he already did the photo shoot for the cover and Lady Ebony already posted on the website fans are waiting for this".

I blew off and replied "well I won't make someone do something they don't wanna do. We'll just have to say he stood us up I'm not kissing ass Charlene".

"Well at least you get to enjoy beautiful Hawaii for a week".

I smiled "you right this is what I needed so vacation time even though I'm on a job".

Just then a white Ferrari pulls up , from where I was sitting I could see him get out. He was wearing a colorful flowery button up shirt that was unbutton at the top three holes . With that it exposed little of his chest and the chains around his neck. He had on khaki shorts and some sandals it was like he just left the beach or something .

Then again he was probably on some hot breakfast date with some female since he was a eligible bachelor. Rated number one on the hot man list in the country.

"Helloooooo Diamond are you there"?

He removed his shades as he closed the door and it just brought out everything. His eyes were so dreamy and his lips were so pumped and sexy. He had the built about him that it was obvious he worked out on a daily and he even walked like money.

"He's, um he's here I'll call you later" I said before hanging up. As he walked inside I pretended not to look instead be in my phone .

It wasn't long before I heard his sexy baritone voice say "excuse me sorry I'm late".

She looked up and it was like a angel was staring back a me she was absolutely gorgeous. Now even though I strayed away from African American women I given them credit they were some beautiful beings I just chose to not date within my race.

"I almost left" she said as I sat down in front of her admiring her beauty. Skin was flawless mocha shade . Her eyes were so beautiful and her body from where I was sitting was very curvy and she was definitely blessed in my favorite section the breast.

"I'm sorry I had another meeting didn't think it would run over, but I've cleared my whole day so I'm all yours......".

She looked at me as if I said something shocking and I smiled .

"My name is Diamond and we should just get started"? I nodded in agreement.

She asked me simple questions some I was asked before and some I wasn't . She was definitely good at her job I must say her questions weren't boring and some tapped in to why I'm the man I am today.

"You said your grandparents played a huge role in your life how so"?

I sipped my tea "my grandfather was a military man. Served in a few wars and always taught me that to be a black man isn't easy, but it's something to be proud about. He always instilled in me to never be a needy man but to be a man who can provide . He was my father I didn't have and I will always be grateful for him. My grandmother well she taught me love and taught me that whatever I do in life build it off love. Everything I do I do for love it may not end well, but love was definitely the foundation and I believe love and patience is what got me this far".

"Okay I get it reminds me of my grandparents . But what about your parents"?

I knew the questions was coming "never knew my dad".

She then said "okay and what about your mom"?

I sigh and said "don't really wanna talk about her".

Diamond side eyed me I know she wanted to know why, but instead she flipped it into another question.

"Is she the reason she you don't date black women"?

We stared at each other for a second and I crack a half smile leaned over and stopped the recording on her phone.

Pissed she asked "why did you do that for"?

I got up and threw a hundred on the table we didn't eat we just had water "come with me we need a break".

"What"?

I chuckled and said "trust me I wanna show you Hawaii and then I'll answer the rest of your questions right now I just need a break and so do you".

Diamond blew off but she didn't refuse she stood up and said "a hour that's it".

I stepped to the side and said "after you"? She began to walk my grandparent also taught me to be a gentleman, but I also wanted to see what she was blessed with from behind and I wasn't disappointed, not one bit.

When she got to the door she turned around and I quickly looked up and she replied "keep your eyes off my ass". I threw my hands up and said "yes ma'am" .

We got to my car and she asked as I lifted the door "where are we going anyway"?

"You like animals"?
