Pace's POV:
I get to school and quickly notice that Avery isn't at school. As soon as I confirm Declan isn't here as well I bolt. The only reason I came was to see her, to win her back. I'm raging with dark thoughts. He thinks he can keep her away from me. f**k him! He's going to regret f*****g with me! I hurry to my car and jump in, racing out of the school parking lot as I begin driving towards my destination. I had a plan to get to Avery but, I wasn't planning on having Declan in my way.
I decide to pull into my house first. The drive home helps me come up with another plan. A fool-proof plan. I enter the number to my father's safe and it unlocks.
