Declan's POV:
I wake up to bright lights and the sounds of medical equipment. I recognize the sounds from when my mother was in the hospital. Looking around I see my stepmom asleep on a chair as my sisters come running up to my bed. Scanning the room before they get to me and I'm not surprised to see my father isn't here. Dina jumps up and hugs me tightly, causing me to let out a loud cough.
"Easy there, squirt!" I say teasingly. Tears start running down her face, instantly.
"I'm sorry Dec, I didn't mean to hurt you." She tells me sadly. Just then something snaps and I panic.
"Where is Avery? WHERE IS SHE? I scream out.
"We don't know Dec, We can't find her and she left her phone at the house. Dad is at the police station filing a report right now." Dina informs me.
