All I can think about is how I need to get out of this f*****g hospital and find my girl. The Doctor told me I would be here for at least a week. There is no way in hell that is happening.
They kept giving me medication to keep me calm and it made me sleepy. I need to pretend to be calm so, I can be alert enough to sneak out of here. I hear my father talking on the phone in the hallway and I hear him say Avery's name so I get out of bed to listen in.
"That boy is so stupid! Getting caught on a video camera at a Walmart. Remember not a word to the cops. Do you know where she is now? Good! Send me the location and I'll leave in a few minutes." He ends the call. What the f**k? Why wouldn't he inform the cops. I have to get out of here, now!
