One More Minute With Him

She knows

In front of me stood the tree that we would claim as kids. But it wasn’t the tree. The tree now was light up with lights.

“Brandon, why are you doing all this, and on tonight of all nights?” I said.

“Because I want you to know what I will do for you to have you back in my arms.” I walked over to him and hugged me.

“I am in your arms silly.”

“No I mean so that people see that we are together. Not me and Michelle.” He kissed me then added. “I telling Michelle that it’s over tomorrow.”

“Brandon you can’t and you know it.”

“Yes I can. And I’m going to. I can’t stand her anymore.”

       “Sweet.” I started but he was kissing me. He turned me around and in front of me stood the tree that we would claim as kids. But it wasn’t the tree. The tree now was light up with lights.

“Brandon you can’t and you know it.”

“Yes I can. And I’m going to. I can’t stand her anymore.”

       “Sweet.” I started but he was kissing me. He turned me around and pushed my body up against the tree. I tried to talk. “Yo-“ He kiss me deeper.  I didn’t stop him. He moved his hands down both my legs to my thighs. Grabbing onto them he lifted me up. I pulled my legs around him and moved my arm to his neck. I then ran my hand down his back. He let out a moan against my lips . I then did it again as the same moan came again. He moved me from the tree to a small patch of grass.

“You know that I will win in the end Ari and you will BE mine to the eye of the world. Everyone will know that you are mine as I am your. Understand?” I didn’t have time to replay.

        He was right I wasn’t going to win I never have won with him. I forgot about the fact that what we were doing wasn’t a good title for Brandon if people were to found out about us; about the fact that he was cheating on Michelle. And about the fact that I was letting him do this to her. She may be a b***h and all but she still doesn’t need to be cheated on.

“Ari, are you okay?” Brandon asked.

“Yes I am.” I was lying and he knew it.

“You’re lying go what's going on?”

“It’s just that your cheating on Michelle with me.” I laid on my elbow's.

“I don’t care about her Ari; I care about and only about you.” Brandon said kissing me again.

      I wasn’t not going to kiss him back. It didn’t matter if I was upset with the fact that he was cheating on his girlfriend. Yes I hated her and she hating me but at the same time it was wrong. Brandon didn’t care. I could tell when he looked at me. He did love me. Really love me. But I couldn’t get over that fact that this was wrong.

I closed my thoughts off and just kissed him back. A kiss turned into a make out lesson and. And make out lesson was turning into something that I wasn’t sure if I was ready for or not.

“Bandon?” He was rumoring his hands under my dress.

“Slow down remember. Not yet.” He stopped and didn’t do any but kiss me.

“Thank you now it’s getting chilling out so we should be heading back to my house.”

“Yes we should.” He stood up and then helped me up and turned the lights off of the tree. At once I couldn’t see anything. I had to stand there and get my eyes to focus. Brandon walked over to me and took my hand. We walked back to the Jeep.

       Once at my door Brandon opened it and kissed me before buckling me in and closing the door. Once he was in the driver site he started the car and began to drive to my house. I was happy that I was able to say I love him and know that he loves me back but in a way all this years I know just how much he loved me but never opened my eyes to it. Stupid me I guess you could say. I was blinded by just our friendship that I couldn’t see that he was falling in love with me harder and harder every day.

“Crap Brandon, I’m so sorry.” I pulled my hand to my mouth. I just said that out loud plus acting stupid right now. Wow I’m so bad.

“Sorry about what?” He asked.

“That I was so stupid that I didn’t see that you were SO in love with me.” Then added. “It must have really killed you when I left.”

“Ari, sweetie don’t worry about it okay it’s over. It’s in the past.”

      We pulled into my driveway. I hopped out of the Jeep and began walking to the door. He was right behind me. At the door I turned right into him. I smile and laughed a little. He smiled down at me.

“Didn’t think you were that close to me.” He wrapped his arms around me. I didn’t care that I couldn’t breathe I care that I loved his smell.

“Thank you for tonight Brandon it meant a lot to me.” I looked up as he was still looking down at me. He leaned in a kissed me lightly. He held the kiss for a minute.

“I love you Arianna.” He said ending the kiss.

“And I love you.” I turned around in his arms. I unlocked the door and was about to walk in but was stopped but my family.

    Brandon quickly removed his arms from me as my parents turned the porch light on.

“Hey baby girl.” My dad yelled out.

“Dad, mom what are you doing home?” I asked. As I looked back at Brandon.

“Well Brandon Father called us about two days ago telling us that we must come home at once.” My mother said as she smiled at me and Brandon.

“I see. Why?” I asked.

“Well because we were told that our daughter is going to be doing the main speak at graduation and we hope that we aren’t mistaken.”

“No mother you’re not mistaken, um I just found out tonight.” I said to my mother.

“Very well. I think it’s time for bed Jim.” She said as she pulled my dad to their room. Mom looked back and smiled. She knew. She had to know.
