*Thanks for reading. For those of you who have not read Rogue's Twins, I highly recommend it before reading this book.* As I walked outside I saw the children kicking a ball and several packmates practicing their fighting skills. I decided to head towards the forest and go for a run. Once I was behind a tree I undressed and changed into my white wolf and began to run. I ran past trees and ended up in front of the lake. The same lake I met Hunter at. I shifted and began to swim.  As I was swimming I began to hear a voice calling to me. I looked around but no one was there and I began to float on my back. I closed my eyes and just laid there. "Morgan help me." I heard the voice say. I got up and looked around but no one was there.  Something felt off so I decided to get out of the water. "Morgan help me." I heard the voice say but this time when I looked around I saw Cassandra in the tree line. She was covered in blood. I gasped and ran towards her. As I got closer I stopped. She had a smile on her face and her eyes were red.  "Cassandra are you ok?" I asked.  "Hello, Morgan." She said and she walked towards me. She was wearing black leather pants and a black top with a long black coat that touched the floor. Her hair was black and in curls but blood was all over her face. The smile plastered all over her face made me shiver.  'Something is wrong.' My wolf said.  'I know.'  'She is dark now be careful. Perhaps we should contact Hunter.'  'I agree.'  'Hunter.' I said as I opened the mind link to him but he did not respond.  "Why are you trying to contact your mate?" She asked.  "You left Cassandra and I am sure Rowan would want to see you." And she laughed.  "Oh, my dear girl when will you wolves learn mates are your biggest weakness. They are pointless." She said.  "They are not pointless Cassandra. They are a blessing."  "So I have heard."  'Hunter please.' I begged through the mind link.  "Why are you here Cassandra?" I asked. I was hoping Hunter would respond but he never did.  "I came for your mate and his brother but they are too guarded to get to. You will have to do." She said and before I could respond my world went dark.  I felt cold and my head was pounding. I opened my eyes and looked around. I was on the cement ground and the room was dark with one light on. I sat up and stretched. My back hurt but not as bad as my head. I stood up and walked over to a door and tried to turn the nobbut it was locked so I walked over to the wall and sank to the floor.    'Hunter can you hear me.' I said as I opened the link. I waited and waited but he never said anything. I tried to connect to my wolf but she was not responding. I was alone and tears began to run down my face.  I am not sure how long I sat there but the door opened a man stood there. He was about six foot eight and had grey skin and long pointed ears. His hair was jet black and in spikes and his eyes were pitch black and cold. "Time to go." He said with a deep dark voice.  I looked up at him "Where are we going?" I asked. "It does not matter. You can either walk or I will carry you. Your choice." He said.  I sighed. "I will walk," I said and stood up and walked towards him. He grabbed my arm and led me out of the room and through a  dark hallway His hand was cold and felt like a rock. We walked up a set of stairs and through another long hallway.  "Where are we going?" I asked.  "The master wants to see you." He said.  "Who is your master?" I asked and he looked at me and smiled. He had fangs and the look he gave scared the crap out of me. I looked away.  He led us into a giant room and sitting on the throne was a man dressed in black. His hair was bright blue and his eyes were bright red. His skin was pale and he oozed power. The closer we got the more I tried to pull away from the man holding my arm. I felt uncomfortable and like something bad was going to happen.  "Is this the girl Cassandra brought to us, Granger?" The man said.  "Yes, Master." He said as he tossed me towards his master. I fell onto the ground and screamed. My arm was hurting. I touched my arm trying to rub out the pain.  "Summon Cassandra pet." He said as he walked to me.  "So you are the mate to one of the twins?" He asked as he circled me.  "Yes," I said.  "And which twin?"  "Hunter," I said.  "Ah, the King of the Night Shade wolves."  "What do you want?" I asked.  "Well, I wanted one of the twins but seeing as I have the queen I think I might alter my plans." He said with a menacing smile. Before I could say anything Cassandra appeared.  "Desmond you summoned my king," Cassandra said and I gasped. He is the son of the demon king and the dybbuk.  "Yes. Can her mate feel everything she is going through?" He asked.  "Not at the moment I blocked the link between them but depending on what you need I can open small parts of it." She said and he smiled.  "GRANGER!" He yelled and after several long seconds the man that brought me here appeared.  "You called master." He said.  "I want Morgan here to be prepped and ready in my bed chambers. We have found ourselves a queen." He said and the man Granger picked me up. I tried to fight him but he was too strong.  "NO PLEASE," I screamed but all I could hear was Desmond laughing.  Before we exited the room I heard him say to Cassandra "I want him to feel the bond break and to know his mate is mine."  "Yes, Master."
