Harry's POV I am going to ask Emerald to come with me in the Yule Ball, I hope she will answer yes. I saw her talking with Cho, I smiled at Cho when she looks at me she just nodded at Emerald and walk away from us. Emerald looked at me. “Hey Harry, do you need something?” she snif, I smiled at her and grabbed her hand and pull her to Astronomy tower. “I like you to come with me in the Yule ball, but would you come with me?” I nervously asked, she was a little bit shocked. But she immediately covered it with a smile. “O-Of course! I thought no one will ask me.” She looked away from me, I held her hand and kiss it. “A clever and the prettiest Ravenclaw? Emerald you are the prettiest girl that I know. I like you,” I smiled she held her hand away from mine. She nervously looked at me, “s-sorry Harry, I-I don't like you. I-I like someone.” She said, my heart broke knowing this that this is what she will going to say. “Malfoy right? Your childhood bestfriend that doesn't care about you. Okay, it's fine. You can still come with me in the Yule ball if you want.” I said and looked away from her, I sighed and continued to walk away from her. Tears are starting to flow in my cheeks I immediately wiped it, I stopped when I saw Malfoy kissing, I felt someone is beside me. I saw Emerald beside me, she run away from me. Emerald's POV He's a jerk, I hate him he knows that I love him since last year. But he just played my feelings! I don't know why I am loving him. I stopped walking infront of Ravenclaws common room, I muttered the password and the portrait swung leading me to go inside. Tears started to fall in my cheek, I covered my face and run to our dorm. I saw Cho reading she walked at me when she saws me crying. “Are you okay? Does Malfoy tricked you again?” asked Cho, I hugged her I continued sobbing as tears flowing through my cheeks. “He is kissing Molina, Cho. Draco said he hates her but why?” I asked crying, she patted my back. “Ems, just forget him and mind the ball tomorrow.” Cho broke the hug and hold my shoulders. She smiled at me, “let's buy a dress for tomorrows ball. Come on!” she said and pulled me. Diagon Alley We walked inside of a dress shop, I looked everywhere but I couldn't find a dress I am not in my mood for picking a dress. I walk to a pink dress, I touch it I gasped nope. Pink is not my color. I saw a blue one, I walked to it and touch it I smiled. “Ms. Blue, are you taking the Blue dress?” I look at the seller, I nodded with a smile I handed the galleons he gave me a paper bag, I put the dress inside of the paper bag. Once Cho and I got our dress and some accesories we came back at Hogwarts, I lay down to my bed. “Shopping is so tiring.” Cho said laying to her bed, “Yes it is, hush.” I said, I closed my eyes and went to sleep. **** I opened my eyes slowly when the sunlight hits my face, I sat down. I saw Cho was still sleeping, I stood up and went to bathroom. “He used to sing me sweet melodies~” I sang, I missed being in muggle life. No magic, no worries. My family were pure bloods but we are living like muggles. So no one suspect at us. “He played me, made me believe it was real love~” I continued to sing, once I am done taking a bath and wearing my bath robe, I went again in our dorm I saw Cho was still sleeping. I giggled at her position of sleeping, I sit at her bed and started to shake her. “Cho, waky waky wake up.” I said, she moaned. “Five more minutes.” “Oh please Cho we need to prepare our selves at Yule ball and we have breakfast.” She groaned and sit. “Wow too early Ms. Blue.” Cho smirked, I laughed. “Yah just go and prepare.” I said. I wear my Ravenclaw robes, I went to the common room to wait Cho. I saw Everlyn sitting infront of the fireplace. “Hey Eve, waiting for someone?” I asked, she shrugged. I sighed and sit beside her. “Are you okay? Why don't you come with me and Cho?” I asked, she looked at me. “I am shy Emerald.” “Really? Don't be shy, by the way do you see Luna?” “Yes, she already made her way to the Great wall.” Everlyn said, “hey guys! Let's go!” Cho exclaimed I looked at Everlyn she nodded. We made our way to Great Hall, my eyes attached to Slytherin's table I saw Draco talking with Molina. I sighed and shooked my head. “Thinking again what you saw yesterday?” asked Cho, I slowly nodded. “Cho, that should be me. I wanted to be his girl. . . but I think it will never be happen.” I said, I looked at Gryffindor's table I saw Harry was looking at me I smiled he smiled back. We sit at the Ravenclaw's table, I pick a sandwich and started to eat. “Do you think Harry will survive?” Everlyn asked, my eyes widened. “Of course Eve! He already survived three times at death, of course he will!” I exclaimed, Cho smiled. “Take it easy cis I am only asking.” Everlyn said, I nodded and continued to eat. **** I looked to the mirror, I putted a light makeup in my face. I looked at the reflection of my blue dress. I walked to it and started to wear it, I walked again to the mirror. “My hair,” I whispered, I turned it to waterfall braid. Cho entered the room, she looked at me her eyes widened. “Oh my gosh! Emerald is that you? You are so pretty!” Cho exclaimed I laughed. “Your dress was wonderful Cho.” I said, she was wearing a silver one. **** I breath deeply, I take a step once I entered the Ball eyes went to me. My eyes locked with a blonde boy Draco. He was so handsome this night, I want to kiss his kissable lips but I can't. He saw me I looked away, I felt he walked to me. Someone grabbed my hand it was him. “Hello.” He smiled, I smiled slightly. “Who is your date? Molina?” I bitterly asked, he shook his head. “No, I don't like her. You know she kissed me yesterday and it was so disgusting.” Draco said, I looked at him he was disgusted about what happen? Is that true or not? “Emerald!” I saw Harry walking to me, I smiled at him he looked at Draco. “What are you doing with my partner?” asked Harry sternly. “She is my bestfriend, Emerald are you sure that you are befriend with a half-blood?” Draco asked, I glared at Draco. “Draco stop, I don't want a fight here. Let's just enjoy this night shall we?” I asked, he sighed. “Fine, but you are coming with me.” Draco said, I looked to Harry's eyes his eyes were full of pain. I looked back to Draco, “no Draco, don't mess my night.” I said and rolled my eyes at him, I pulled Harry away from him. “I thought you will accept his offer.” Harry said, I smiled at him. “I wish I could be, but I know. . . his tricking me.” I said he sighed, he offered his hand to me I accept it. “Shall we?” he asked, I nodded we went at the middle and start dancing. Others start to dance too. I lean my head to his chest, I could feel his heartbeat. “You are too beautiful,” Harry whispered in my ear, I felt butterflies in my stomach. “Thank you.” I said.
