Chapter Thirteen

I can't believe I'll be saving the very person I want dead. I haven't even done anything to avenge my pack and now I am making another mistake by keeping that alpha live. Feeling a hand over my shoulder, I turned around. She then pulled it away and spoke slowly. “Pease let us see him again...uh,—" “Farah." I just don't want her or any of these people to keep calling me, you or miss, every single time. I am not someone who can be used and be ordered around easily. I’m certainly not planning to be friendly or any of that. They just need to remember the name that will soon trample on their so-called respectable pack. “Stay safe, Farah” “I don't plan on dying.” “... I know you won't. And thank you” I looked at her for a second. "You don't owe it to me. If it wasn't for June, I wouldn't even do something as meaningless as this." She pursed his lips, thinking about something before she focuses her eyes to me again. “Farah, we are not the—" Ray grabs her hand and stopped her. I really didn't feel like listening anymore, so I turned around and walked away. I did saw Sam, not far away, talking to the guards. I can't help but sneered. He notices my threatening presence right away. “Do you need something? Rogue.” “Nothing.” I looked elsewhere. Just wanted to catch you off-guard then attack you. “...keep yourself in check or you'll get in trouble once you're outside. Learn to hide your intentions. ” “There's no need to hide it if I want to intimidate you.” I suddenly extend my hand to Sam like I was waiting to receive something. And when he got the message across, he folded his arms. “You'll live either way, right?" Hmph. Looks like I'm only going to take myself today. By the gist of it, they know that I'm already capable of surviving with nothing at hand. Rogue's unnecessary reputation. “You're right, it's never going to be worse than what you’ve been feeding us all this time. Even a small fry like me can tell that there was something on the food. Even escaping was so easy that I almost thought this pack was weak. You need to tighten up your security, be-e-ta.” I commented, obviously taunting him. “You... Rogue.” His face contorted. I put my hands up, turning my back against him and starts to walk towards the forest entrance. I sighed. “Time to start hunting.”
