She Loves Me!

What do I want to eat? I press B6 to get me some fruit snacks, since i don't eat meat. It's been a week and she still hasn't woken up. I have fallen into a routine here. In the mornings I go to school and around lunch I go see Rose and come back to school. And when school is over I'll come here and stay with rose. When my visiting time is up I go with Lacey since i don't like being home with my 'father'.

I walk into Rose's room and sit down beside her bed. Opening my fruit snacks I proceeded to put some into my mouth, completely ignoring everything else. I'm thinking about Rose, I haven't been able to talk to her. But I know  she will wake up soon. I'm going to finally tell her everything on my mind. But what if… What if she doesn't feel for me what i feel for her..? What if she doesn't even want to see me anymore? How could I handle that?

"..Ava?" I hear a hoarse voice call out to me. 

My head whips up so fast towards Rose's bed. There she is.. Awake, watching me.

"Water..please" she coughs out. I ran to the sink and get her some water. She drinks 3 cups before looking back up at me. I was already looking at her.

"Why are you crying?" She asks sitting up more. 

Crying? 

I feel my face and sure enough it's wet. I hadn't even realized that i was crying before. "Ava, what's wrong?" Rose asks and it just makes me cry more. What if she doesn't want me? 

"I just.. I just want to say I'm sorry Rose.. For everything. And i should have listened to you. I should've trusted you but i didn't. You are here because of me and i am so sorry Rose. Im so-" 

"Hush baby girl. I'm okay now. Come here" she said waving her hand. I look at her to make sure she wants and then i walk over to her. 

I hug her with all of my strength and when she winces I try to pull away. But she keeps her hold on me and speaks softly in my ear. "You were all i was thinking about. Please don't go" She sounds so broken. 

"I'm not. I promise. I couldn't. I love you!" The words come out of my mouth before I could stop them. I freeze. I wasn't thinking. What if she thinks im crazy. 

"Rose i didn't mean to say that it just fell out of my mouth. I get all stupid when im around you and i didnt think about it i am sorry" i rush out all in one breath. 

She just looks at me with a smirk on her face. One that makes my knees weak and my core tighten. 

She grabs my face to kiss me. I kiss her back immediately. I pull away when I need air and she places her head on my head.

"I missed you, Ava." Rose starts crying. "I missed you and Lacey so much. She told me that she killed Lacey and i… I didn't know what I would do if she was really gone. If you didn't find me i would probably still be trying to kill her".

I pull her to my chest and repeatedly kiss her head, telling her that it will be okay. 

After we get done crying together i get up to get a nurse, and I call Lacey.When she hears that Rose is woke she hangs up and is at the hospital in record time. 

When she gets here she just looks at Rose like she can't believe that she is actually woke. Then she rushes to her side, telling her that she is sorry for everything. 

I quietly leave the room so that they can have their time together. I walked over to the nurses station to see the soonest that we can take her home. 

"She should be discharged late evening, is that okay?" She asks very politely. I like her. I nod my head, and turn to go back into Rose's room. When i get there the sight that greets me has me smiling. Rose is holding Lacey to her chest and they are laughing at something. She looks really happy. 

"Knock knock" i speak out loud. Both of them look over to me and Rose waves me over. Lacey gets out of the bed and i her place. Except im not on her lap, just beside her on the bed. 

"Ava" Rose calls to me.

"Yes? Are you okay? Do you want me to go ge-" 

"No none of that, I want something else." She cuts me off. 

"Oh.. Sorry." I blush and put my head down. 

"Come here" she demands, patting her lap. I shake my head no. " I do not want to hurt you, you just woke up" i say rising to my feet. She just smiles and shakes her head. 

"Sweet heart you barley weigh a thing, now come here, i missed you." She tells me again. I stubbornly refuse. She sighs before quickly leaning forward and pulling me on her. I shriek in surprise and put my hands on her chest for leverage. Instead of my hands landing on her chest, they each land on one of her breasts. I meet her eyes and put my hands back. 

She moves me around until we are both in a comfortable position. Me turned sideways on her lap, my head on her shoulder and her arms wrapped around me. God i hope she never lets me go. We talked for a while before I feel my eyelids getting heavy. I fight to stay awake but i hear Rose whisper in my ear " Go ahead and sleep, i'm not going anywhere." 

I look up to make sure that she is sure and then i snuggle back into her chest.

I awake a couple of hours later. Our positions have changed. No longer am I sitting on her lap, but we are snuggled together with our legs tangled. My head is on her chest and my arm is thrown over her neck. One of her arms is under me and the other is on my hip, keeping my body close to hers. 

She looks tired, so i dont move. The door opens and Lacey comes into view. 

"Is she still asleep?" She whispered to me. I nod my head. 

"Well she should be able to leave soon, I have her release papers, and they are signed soooo whenever she gets up we can take her home." She says and goes to take a seat on the sofa she has been occupying since Rose has been in the hospital. 

Rose stirs from beside me and finally opens her eyes. I opened my mouth to say hello , but as always… she kissed me. She pulled away before I could even kiss back and I follow her lips for more. I shake my head and pull away. 

"Lacey said that uhh we could leave.. Whenever you woke up that is. But seeing as though you are woke now we could. But if not that's okay too. We can let you rest here for a little while-" she cuts my rumbling with another kiss. This time i hold her head to make sure that i can kiss her back. She smiles against my lips and after a minute i pull away just as Lacey calls out to us. "God! Sister in the room! Pleaseee my eyes!"

Rose and I burst out laughing. Lacey groans once more and gets up and walks to the bed. "C'mon Cupcake, we gst to take you home." She says looking at Rose. 

"I told you to stop calling me that." Rose pinned Lacey with a glare. Lacey just snickered and walked back out of the room, telling us to hurry up.

When we get to their house, Lacey turns in. I know that Rose is tired but she is being stubborn and will not lay down.

"Rose." I say very firmly

"Ava" she retorts.

"Sweetheart you need to rest, please lay down." I beg.

"Sweetheart, I'm fine." She says sitting down on the couch. I can tell she knows that I am not convinced by the look on my face. She sighs. "Fine i will lay down…. If you come and lay down with me." She says in all seriousness. 

"If that's the way to get you to lay down, so be it" i say grabbing her outstretched hand. We slowly make our way up the stairs and into Rose's room. I have been sleeping here while she has been in the hospital, to avoid my father and because i missed her. I help her change into some spandex shorts and a sports bra. It's hard to keep my eyes off of her body, but every time she catches me looking she just smiles, letting me know that she doesn't mind. She openly checks me out anyway. When she lies down on the bed, she reaches for me. I shake my head and tell her that i need to shower. She looks at me confused and i explain. 

"I have been sleeping here since the day we got the letters. I needed to keep Lacey safe, and it gave me a chance to avoid my father. That and I missed you." 

She nods her head and I walk to her dresser to get my clothes out. 

After i shower, I get dressed and walk out to the sight of Rose lying on her back with her hands behind her head. 

A smile immediately finds its way on to face. She must have felt my presence because she turned her head in my direction. She takes in what im wearing and raises her eyebrows. I just smirk and drop my clothes in the hamper. I have on some short cotton polka dotted shorts and a tight tank top. I laid down on the bed beside Rose. She turns on her side and looks at me while I watch her. "Are you okay?" I ask. She has been through a lot. She looked at me like she is trying to find out what to say. "Don't think about it Rose. Just tell me what is going through your head. You have been through a lot." I say before she can actually think about what to say. 

She lays back on her back again and starts off with a sigh. "Ava, at first.. I thought… I thought Lacey was dead. I was going to kill Kate. There's not a doubt about that.. But now i feel great. I have my sister, she is safe. And I have… you." She finishes. 

How does she feel about me? Like this is my fault. Had she not have gotten mad me, Kate wouldn't have gotten to her.

"Rose, i have a question. And I really want you to answer it honestly.. Okay?" I say looking over to her. 

"Of course, babygirl." I love it when she calls me that. It makes me want to melt. I try to find a way to put what i want to ask nicely.. Not blunt. But that seems like its gonna be the only way to put it. My mouth is opening and closing like im a fish. I take a deep breath and spit it out before I lose my courage. "How do you feel.. Yknow about me?" 

She looks at me for a moment and i almost slap myself in the head for being so-

"Ava" i look up to Rose and she looks back at me. "Why are you crying?"

Crying? I wipe my face and just as she said I'm crying. 

"Ava, you question how i feel about you? You don't need to baby girl." She says wiping my face. "You make me want to be better, i am extremely protective of you, you calm me with a touch of your hand, and your the most beautiful girl i have seen. If soul mates existed, no doubt would you be mine. Your the other half of me, Ava. I like you.  A lot. Hell.. f**k it, i love you , Ava. That's how i feel. I dont think nothing can change that. " she says sitting up. I freeze.

She loves me. She loves me.  

"Ava? Babygirl?" She asks looking at my face. I jump up and sit in her lap with my legs on either side of her. My hands are holding her face so that she looked me straight in the eyes. I close my eyes and place my forehead on hers. 

"Say it again" i demanded. 

“I love you, Ava. God i love you so f*****g much.” she says and leans forward to kiss me. When our lips meet, I can't help but to feel complete.

We kiss for a while before I pulled away to breathe and she attacks my neck with heavy kisses.I bite my lip to keep myself from moaning out loud, after all Lacey is just down the hall. But Rose doesn’t seem to like that. She bites my neck and I cry out loudly. She kisses and sucks over the part she bit, causing me to moan. She moves to the other side of my neck and sucks on a spot right behind my ear which makes me squirm. Her hands are holding my ass, squeezing here and there. I pull her face back to my face, my lips seeking hers again.

I pull away once more, this time desperate to breathe and she breaths also. 

“I love you, Rose. And im sorry for not believing you and for leaving you after you… You helped me with my sick ass father. You opened me up, Rose. Hell without you i feel incomplete. Don’t ever leave me. Okay? Please.. Don’t ever leave me.” I say leaning in pressing my lips to hers for a second and then I pull away. “Rose, don’t ever leave me.”

She nods her head wiping tears coming from my eyes. “Promise?”

“Yeah, i promise. I won’t. Now lets get some sleep baby girl. You look like you haven’t slept for a while. You are okay right? Nothing has happened while I was gone..right?” she asks looking at me. I freeze but recover right away and nod my head. I don’t want to talk about this right now. 

She looked at me like she knows something is wrong but she doesn’t push it.  

She lays down and grabs me so that i can lay on her chest. 

“Good night baby girl..”i hear Rose say, but it sounds distant.

“Goodnight Rose.. I love you.” I mumble back.

I hear a faint I love you too before I finally accept the darkness coming closer to me. I hug Rose tighter to me , and she hugged me closer also. And i fall asleep with a smile on my face.
