Heiley Baldwin refused to marry her best friend Troy to keep her CEO title.

Her father then married his late wife's best friend Sarah, who brought her daughter Emily.

Emily wanted to be the only Baldwin heiress.

At Troy's engagement party, Emily offered Heiley spiked wine.

"To a new chapter?"

Dizzy, Heiley was sent to Room 209. The plaque was loose. 209 became 206.

In 206 was billionaire Alejandro Fernandez — also drugged on his blind date.

One night. No names. No faces.

He left with only her silver earring. She was declared dead in a fire .

But Heiley survived in Spain with no memory. As Maze, she raised her twins, Leo and Lynn.

Seven years later, she returns. Her daughter has seven days to live.

Her son runs to a stranger at a gala and asks, "Are you my dad? Please save my sister."

That stranger is Alejandro.

He doesn't know he has twins. And he thinks Heiley died seven years ago.

THE FORFEIT
Heiley's phone buzzed in her pocket. Baldwin Board. Emergency vote Friday 9 AM. Per the by-laws, unmarried heirs forfeit CEO role. Mr. Edward motions to liquidate if you're not engaged to Troy by vote. Your mother's design vault opens to bidders at noon. Her blood went cold. _That old man really got on my nerves._ Two weeks ago, she had been forced to get engaged to Troy her childhood friend by her own father, under pressure from the board. But after finding out Troy was in love with her best friend Zoe, she had denied the engagement. She had promised her father she would prove she could handle the company even without being engaged to someone. She dialed Troy, her fingers tight around the phone. "Hey, did you find out what I asked for?" "Yeah," Troy said on the other end. "I understand. You don't have to worry about my company issues. I can handle it. But there is something I don't understand. I think my dad is hiding something from me." "Okay then, have a great day, Troy." She ended the call with a satisfied smile. "Let's see how you keep forcing me to get engaged just to be the CEO," she murmured, putting her phone back in her pocket. ......................... In a cold hospital room that smelled of antiseptic, Mr. Baldwin sat frozen. "Mr. Baldwin, your condition has worsened. You need surgery as soon as possible," the doctor said. Harris went quiet for a moment, processing the news. His wife had died in an accident two years ago, when she went to see a heart donor for him. He looked at the doctor with a worried expression. "How long can it take if I don't get surgery?" The doctor hesitated. "According to your heart condition, you may live three to six months without surgery." Harris nodded, remembering his daughter. If he dies, what would she do? "What are the survival chances if I go through the surgery?" The doctor answered truthfully, "It's thirty percent." Harris left the hospital and headed home. _Since you don't want to get engaged to Troy, this is the only thing I have left to do._ He pulled out his phone and dialed. "Hey, Sarah. I need your help." --- From the company, Heiley went to her dad's office at home. Mr. Harris looked a bit nervous when he saw her. "Heiley, sit down. I need to tell you something." Heiley raised an eyebrow. "What is it, Dad?" He smiled softly. "I've met someone. Her name's Sarah." Her eyes widened in realization. "Wait, Sarah from the Smiths? Mom's friend Sarah?" "The same. We've been... seeing each other for a bit." Her face lit up even though she wasn't sure. "Dad, if you're happy, I'm happy." He exhaled, relieved. "Really? You're okay with it?" She hugged him. "Dad, I want you to be happy. Period." His smile became wider. "And guess what? Sarah has a daughter, Emily. She's about your age, twenty-two." Heiley's eyes beamed. "Really? That sounds awesome!" "I think you'll like her. Maybe you two can hang out." "Definitely! I always yearned to have a sibling." "I hope you guys will bond. Sarah's lovely... and Emily seems cool too." "Okay, Dad." "I'll set up dinner with them soon." Heiley nodded and went back to her room. She slipped into her room, shutting the door softly. She pulled out a framed photo of her mom from her desk drawer. "Hey, Mom... Dad just told me something. He's seeing someone. Sarah. And she has a daughter, Emily." She sat on her bed, tracing the photo's edges. "I don't know, Mom... it feels kinda weird. But Dad seems happy. He wants me to get along with Emily." She sighed. "What do you think, Mom?" Her gaze lingered. "Yeah, I guess it's okay. I want Dad to be happy... that's what you always said, right, Mom?" Her brow furrowed. "But... you told me Sarah was your friend. Like, a really close friend. You guys were like sisters, plus Aunt Linda." Her thoughts swirled. "And now Dad's dating her? I don't know... What do I do, Mom?" She stared at the photo, lost in thoughts. "I remember you guys used to talk about stuff... like, really deep stuff. You trusted her, Mom. Does that mean I can trust her too?" She paused. "And Emily... is she gonna be like a sister or something? Weird thought." She shook her head slightly. "Guess I'll just... go with it. For Dad." She smiled softly at the photo. "Okay, Mom. I'll try. I love you, Mom... Miss you a lot." Her eyes drooped, heavy with memories. Still holding the photo, she curled up on her bed, breathing slow. The frame slipped to her chest as she drifted off, lost in sleep. ................... Her dad pushed open the door, a soft smile on his face. He spotted Heiley asleep, clutching her mom's photo to her chest. He crossed the room quietly, sitting on the bed edge. He didn't know how to break the news that he was dying. Deep inside, he knew his decision to bring Sarah in was the best for her. "Heiley... sweetie... time for dinner." He gently brushed hair from her face. Heiley stirred, eyelids fluttering. "Dad...?" she mumbled, still holding the photo. Her dad smiled. "Yeah, it's me. Dinner's ready. Sarah and Emily are here." Downstairs, Emily was already at the table. Twenty-two, blonde, smiling at everything like she owned the room. _Soon I'm going to be a Baldwin too. This is gonna be fun._ Her thoughts distracted when her eyes landed on Heiley and her dad stepping down the stairs. Heiley looked different, beautiful and softer somehow. Her dad had his arm around her shoulders. "Heiley!" Emily stood, smiling. "Dad Harris told me everything about you. It's nice to meet you in person." Heiley smiled back, but her voice came as a whisper. "You must be Emily. It's nice to meet you too."
