Until my last howl

Chapter 6 - I reject!

The alpha looked at me with a spark in his eyes. He seemed up for a challenge of a fight. I stared straight into his eyes as if I was challenging him.

He slowly started walking around me, looking at every inch of my wolf body. I followed him with my eyes, my hair standing straight up, ready to pounce and take him down... Somehow I thought I was capable, in my human form, I would of never had such thoughts at all!

"You will be my mate!" said the alpha, gritting his teeth in excitement. I growled at him, ready to rip his throat out!

"Everybody shift back!" shouted the alpha.

I wasn't sure whether or not to shift back but I remembered the threat that the alpha used previously to snap my mothers' neck...

I was reluctant but shifted back into my human form. I looked at my parents, I looked at Max and Lucy. For once, there was fear in my eyes and I wasn't sure what to do...

The alpha came to stand infront of me once again, looked at me and said "You will be my mate!" His eyes flashed red again and he got a sly smile on his face.

"I reject you!" I yelled at the top of my lungs so that everybody could hear me.

The alpha gave an evil laugh, bent down and whispered in my ear, "you don't have a choice my dear"...

He sent shivers down my spine with the sound of his voice and I got goosebumps all over my arms.

"You will come with me and you will come peacefully". He said with an evil smile. "Or you can suffer the consequences"...

There he goes with his threats again, I thought to myself. "I'll go with you" I said with a rather hoarse voice.

He smiled, took my hand and started leading me away from the central square. I looked back at Max and Lucy, at my parents with tears in my eyes. Will I ever see them again? I asked myself. I used my free hand and managed to make a small wave goodbye...

I got into the alphas' car reluctantly, not knowing what was laying in store for me. The alpha climbed in next to me and his beta climbed into the drivers seat.

I got a wiff of his scent which was mouth watering and I started drooling. He didn't seem to notice though, he was looking straight ahead, hands tight on the steering wheel.

"Drooling for me already my dear?" the alpha asked. The betas knuckles cracked as he gripped the steering wheel even tighter.

"Everything alright Charles?" The alpha asked his beta. "Yes alpha, everything is fine." Charles responded.

The alpha turned his attention to me again but I wasn't paying any attention. I was looking out the window at the forest we were driving away from and tears formed in my eyes. Will I ever see my home again? Will I see my parents? I silently cried...

"Why are you crying my dear?" the alpha asked. "I don't know, maybe it's because you took me away from my parents, maybe it's because you took me away from my home, maybe it's because you took me away from my friends, maybe it's because I'm leaving without any of my belongings." I cried loudly.

"Sshhh, there there, it's going to be alright, we'll get you all sorted out once we get to my castle" He said with a more softer tone of voice.

I let out a yawn, it was a rough day, I felt exhausted but felt like I shouldn't sleep around the alpha. Charles saw and I believe he felt that I was getting tired. "You can have a sleep if you would like, it's going to be a long drive." He said. "How long?" I asked in a rather soft voice.

"About 6 hours, sleep, it will do you good." He said.

I looked into the front mirror and saw his eyes looking at me, I instantly started feeling a bit more relaxed. "There is a pillow and a blanket at the back if you would like" He said softly. I saw the pillow and blanket and grabbed them. I put the pillow behind my head and covered myself fully with the blanket. The blanket is so soft, I thought to myself as I gently rubbed my hand along the soft fibres before bringing my hand back in and covering it.

I turned my body so that I could face the window, it was starting to get dark outside and I closed my eyes as I saw the last bits of my home fading away into the darkness...

"You have always been better with talking to my mates than what I have" said the alpha to his beta. "I grew up with a lot of sisters" He responded to his alpha with a smile.

The alpha leaned over and looked at me, I could feel his breath on my neck. I just kept pretending to be sleeping. The alpha started reaching under the blanket and wanted to feel my leg when beta Charles spoke up. "Alpha perhaps you should get some sleep too, you have a busy schedule tomorrow."

"Perhaps you are right Charles, I do have quite a hectic schedule tomorrow once we get there." The alpha put his head back and started drifting off into sleep...
