Chapter 3 "Hello?" the voice chimed. Becky was in the kitchen, it was midday and LJ was on her lunch break, brewing coffee. "One second," Becky said. She wiped her hand on her jeans and entered the store floor to see a young woman looking around. Her hair, dyed a very dark shade of blue that looked black in some lights, was tied in a tight ponytail. She was wearing a soft pair of slacks, and a sweater, her jacket folded over her arm. "Hi," she said. Becky could remember meeting this girl, about her age, maybe just older, once or twice, but she could not remember her name. "Hi," the girl said.
