Chapter 5
"God, isn't this just wild?" Eve strode into her store. Becky had returned to her store about thirty minutes ago and she knew that Eve would follow her. Eve seemed very intense about what she did.
"I suppose so," Becky said. Eve looked around, as if she had never been in the store.
"You have a lot of stuff," Eve said.
"I do," Becky said. It wasn't a question and she wasn't sure how to respond to that. Eve raised an eyebrow. "Who is that?" Eve asked, pointing to LJ.
"Lucy. LJ," LJ said. "Shop assistant." She smiled. Eve nodded.
"Becky, I need to talk to you," Eve said, not unkindly. She was very goal oriented.
"Kitchen," Becky said. She led Eve to the kitchen and Eve sat down at the little table. Becky turned on the coffee pot.
