"Where is Jackson?"
I look at Jake with a frown.
"What do you mean? Isn't he out with one of the search groups?"
Jake shakes his head.
"No, his group has already come back. We ran into them on the way to the holding cells. He said he saw something. He was going to come find you."
"Did any of you see him?"
I look at our group and they all shake their heads. My mother clasps her hand over her mouth.
"If he was on his way here, where is he now?"
