"Are you okay?"
I look up at Jake as we walk down the hall, back to his office to look over some files that the council sent over. I don't immediately answer him as I think about his question. To be honest, I don't even know what to think or feel right now.
My mind has been a whirlpool since even before we spoke to Zane and the council, but Jackson was right, we had work to do so after he and I got off the phone with Zane we went to look for Jake and Ryan.
