Megan's Point of View
"Oh god dammit. This hurts!"
I hiss out in pain as I lay back against Jake's chest, trying to catch my breath. These contractions hurt like a b***h. I have been pushing for quite some time now, but so far nothing is happening.
"Just breathe, baby."
Jake says and I glare up at him.
"I bloody well am breathing. What the hell does it sound like I am doing? You try giving birth."
I snap at him and I see him slightly cringe, glancing over at Shay who just shakes her head with a small smirk playing on her lips. Jake looks back at me and the love and understanding in his eyes immediately makes me feel bad.
"It's okay baby."
I feel a lump forming in my throat and I shake my head.
"No. It's not. I am so sorry. I did not mean to snap at you."
He gives me a small smil
