Shay's Point of View
I blink my eyes a few times as Damien abruptly ends the mindlink. I shake my head trying to clear it before I go after Zane and Jake.
"Guys! Stop! They are not at the hospital. Megan's water broke, they are somewhere on the path leading through the forest."
Jake spins around to look at me.
"Where exactly on the path are they?"
I shrug and sigh as I start making my way over to the treeline.
"I don't really know, Damien said about halfway but he sounded pretty freaked out so I'm not sure. He said he was sending Zayde our way. I guess we follow Zayde once we find him. Come on, we need to hurry and find them. He said she's close to giving birth."
I say as I start to jog but Zane grabs my hand and pulls me to a stop. Jake stops as well, anxiously glancing between us
