Clara’s POV
Before I knew it was Thursday afternoon and we were about to head off to the horse trials. I’d barely seen Johannes since Tuesday as he wrapped up all his other businesses and things to prepare for the weekend away. I packed a bag for a few nights but I wasn’t really sure what to bring… Gia saying that this would be the weekend we did it kept playing on my mind so I’d gone out and bought some very lacey looking lingerie, but obviously I wouldn’t be able to work in it so I packed my normal sports bras and pants too, which now seemed to mean half my bag was full of underwear like I was some travelling knickers saleswoman!
Johannes had asked me where I wanted to stay, he said he’d be staying in the lorry to be on site for the horses but would be happy to pay for a hotel for me.
