MIYOUNG POV

The clock strikes 1 AM and I kept tossing on my bed because I couldn't sleep.

I sighed and covered my head with another pillow.

I was about to drift to dreamlands when I heard a rustling noise under my bed.

Is there is a monster under my bed just like what Sehun said?

And suddenly I heard the rustling noise became louder and clearer.

I almost jump on my bed when I felt sharp things clawed my mattress under the bed.

Is it really a monster?!

Relax, Miyoung. Relax.

Inhale.

Exhale.

I sat up on the bed nervously and slowly bent down.

I know this is a bad idea.

I regretted it immediately.

But before I could straightened myself back, I saw a pair of red eyes looking at me.

"AHHHHHHH!!" I shrieked in fear and fell down to the floor.

Oh no, no! I'm closer to that monster right now!

I immediately get up and ran to the door.

I tried to open the door but it's unlocked.

Why does it is unlock at this time?!

It drives me crazy when I saw a figure crawling out under the bed.

"Please! Help me!!! Anyone!!! HELP!!!" I shouted for help while clawing the door.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

I couldn't recognize if that is the monster's footsteps or my heartbeat.

When the noise gets nearer, I felt my heart stop pounding.

I started to silently pray for my life while closing my eyes and clasping my hands.

My mother's words rang in my mind.

You're strong, Miyoung.

Yes, I am strong. Monster couldn't defeat me.

I opened my eyes back but then, I didn't see the monster anymore.

Where did it go?

"Human girl." A voice whispered next to my ear.

"Ahhhh!" I screamed and was about to run away from that spot but a pair of hands grabbed

my shoulders to stop me.

"Relax! You’re totally going to damages my sense of hearing, little girl!" A young woman

said.

I slowly turned my head and faced the young woman.

She looked around 18 years above.

It was actually a girl not a monster.

She had bangs and her black hair suits her porcelain skin.

She wore a black leather top with black leather pants with a pair of black boots.

I could tell that she is a fan of leather and black colour.

"W-who are y-you?" I stuttered.

"I should be the one who ask you that in the first place..." The girl said while putting her

hands on her waist.

Something clicked in my mind.

"O-ohhh, Are you my roommate?" I asked.

"My roommate?! How dare they let a weak, powerless human girl becomes my roommate?!"

The girl asked in a louder voice.

I rolled my eyes while trying to calm down.

Did she think I wished to be here on the first place?

The girl sighed loudly before she sat on her bed.

"Sit." Juhyun ordered, pointing to my bed.

Does anyone in here didn't know the word 'please' ever existed?

"I'm Kim Juhyun and you?" Juhyun asked.

"Kim Miyoung." I replied shortly.

"How old are you?" Juhyun asked.

"17." I answered.

"You're younger than me, call me unnie." Juhyun demanded.

"Okay." I replied while turning my head and rolling my eyes again.

"How you ended up here?" Juhyun asked.

"I read some phrases about EXO." I answered.

Juhyun's lips twitched into a smirk and she let out a soft chuckle.

"You're so dead. May you rest in peace." Juhyun said and I scoffed.

This girl is something.

She's challenging my anger more than Yeojin did.

"They tried to kill me but here I am, still breathing and alive." I said.

I'm not proud of it because it's more like me begging Sehun to keep me alive.

I was so stupid for believing the words on the tree.

I should just die.

"That's impressive." Juhyun said.

"You must reminded them of someone, that's why they hesitated to kill you." Juhyun added

before she went into the toilet.

"Whatever." I mumbled and plopped on the bed and somehow I drifted to the dreamlands.

"Where were you before, u-unnie?" I broke the ice of awkward silence while putting on my

shoes.

It was already 6.30 AM.

Another 5 minutes before all the door including the cafeteria door will be locked for

breakfast.

"I was on my trip." Juhyun replied flatly.

"Trip?" I asked.

"My group and I were doing research in the forest. We were investigating about the living

thing in the forest." Juhyun answered.

"So you do research about trees and animals?" I asked casually.

"No." Juhyun emphasizing her word with eyebrows furrowed..

"I didn't know if you're pretending to be stupid or you're really stupid.." Juhyun said, crossing

her arms.

"Well, let's say that I'm stupid in this world." I said in anger.

I hate the word 'stupid'

"There are a lot of living things in the forest. I will give you some examples. There are

vampires, werewolves, unicorns and other monsters inside the forest." Juhyun said with a

serious tone.

I snorted when I heard she said 'unicorns'

"Why is that?" Juhyun asked.

"Unicorns sounds cute." I chuckled.

"Not until you found that unicorn killed a lot of people using their horn. Unicorns didn't seem

like what you read in the fairy tale book. Unicorn doesn't have a smile on their lips, doesn't

look like an angel horse that fall from heaven, doesn't have that rainbow tail and most

important thing is that they aren't friendly and just kill anyone they found." Juhyun said in

serious.

She practically ruined my fantasies about unicorns.

Juhyun put on her shoes and left me without saying anything.

Wow.

She is one hard-headed woman.

I put on my bag pack then get out of the room.

The door locked by itself while I walk to the cafeteria.

It's weird how it'll locked by itself.

I ran to the cafeteria just before the door being locked.

I sat next to Yeojin.

I think I had been the permanent member to sit there.

Today, the dish is toast.

Yes! Finally, a normal food.

I froze the moment I take a bite of the toast.

"Is this bread or log?!" I cried in a low tone.

"Oh, come on. Don't be such a baby. This could strengthen your teeth." Jimin said and I

scowled.

"Oh, yeah. My ears hurt a lot. You're the who screamed like bloody hell last night, right?"

Jimin asked and I gulped.

"That was you?" Yeojin asked in disbelief.

I felt my cheeks turned red in embarrassment.

"It's not me!" I shouted as my arms crossed.

Suddenly, the sirens blazed through the speaker.

I cringed at the loud noise while my eyes wildly looking around.

My eyes looked over a guy who looked in furious and running towards me.

"W-why he is running towards me?!" I asked in panic as I grabbed Yeojin's sleeve.

Before I could react to anything, he slammed me against the table and thank god, my head

landed on the toast.

"Why did you come back?!" He snarled.

"What are you doing, Dojoon?!" Yeojin growled.

"Guess what? I heard that she came here and I'm here to take my revenge!" Dojoon said

and gritted his teeth.

My hands immediately covered my face when he was about to throw a punch to my face.

Where are the guards?

Why everyone didn't want to help me?

Suddenly, I heard something slammed against the metal wall.

I saw Dojoon was already at the edge of the room and to my surprise Kyungsoo was

standing next to me.

"No one touch her like that." Kyungsoo growled at Dojoon.

"You're such a fool, Kyungsoo. You know what she had done to my family!" Dojoon said

while the guards armed with big gun running to him.

"Because she isn't her!" Kyungsoo yelled.

"K-kyungsoo..." I get up from the table and touched his arm.

"Don't touch me!" Kyungsoo slapped my hand away.

He walked away and sit on his seat next to Jongin.

"Bring her to infirmary." Joonmyun said while eating.

"Let's forget what just happened. Enjoy your breakfast!" Baekhyun said in a happy tone

before taking a big bite of the toast.

"Are you okay?" Yeojin asked.

"Y-yeah.. I-I.." I stuttered as I glanced at EXO.

Chanyeol's lips formed a small smile before I turned my head.

"I'm fine." I replied before fixing my uniform and sit properly again.

Just as the bell rings and cafeteria door unlock, I ran after EXO.

I need to know why Dojoon acted like that to me.

"Wait!" I grabbed Sehun's arm because he's the last ones to get out of the cafeteria.

Sehun eyed my hand that was on his arm before he shook it off and spoke out.

"What?" He asked in a stern voice.

"You must know about it, right?" I asked.

"Know about what?" Sehun asked.

"Don't play dumb." I narrowed my eyes.

"How should I know if you didn't tell me. I can't read mind." Sehun glared at me with crossed

arms.

"I want to know about what Dojoon said." I said.

"What did you want to know?" Sehun asked.

"Everything." I replied.

"It's not important. You could just let it go." Sehun shrugged.

"No, it is important! I need to know what things else that she done before another person

come and choke me." I said.

Sehun remained silent and thinks deeply for a moment before he spoke out.

"If only you can do something for me in return." Sehun said.

"Do what?" I asked.

"You'll need to train with me for 30 days." Sehun said.

"Train what?" I asked in slightly higher tone.

"I want you to be fit and strong enough to protect yourself." Sehun said.

"It's a benefit for me." I replied in confusion.

"At least, all of us wouldn't need to take care of you just like what Kyungsoo did. We let you

alive here is already enough for our kindness." Sehun said.

"When will we start and when will I get my information?" I asked.

"We'll start tomorrow and you'll get your information on the 30th day." Sehun answered.

"On the 30th day? Are you kidding me?!" I asked in disbelief.

"If I tell you now, you wouldn't go for the training." Sehun said.

"Okay. Deal" I mumbled.

Training with Sehun wouldn't be that hard, right?

And it'll gives benefit to me as well.

I'll do anything to get the information of that girl.

30 days training with Sehun sounds exciting.
