“Didn’t think that we would see you again so soon.”
Milo squints as he guides the golf cart in the direction of our pack house.
It seems as if he is thinking along the same lines as Alec and is keeping training sessions in a more private and presumably safe location.
Lifting a shoulder, I can feel Mike’s eyes burning into my back.
He wants to know if I have thought anymore about meeting with Alpha Damion tonight.
He really must be obsessed with this Lauren.
But he doesn’t want to ask in front of Milo or Brandon, who is seated uncomfortably beside Mike in the backseat.
“Yeah. I just wanted to get away for a bit.”
And check on Dean.
Glancing at my phone to see that Dean still hasn’t responded, I look up to catch Milo making a face.
