Episode 15 : Food Feast

"Yes, can also but who will accompany me?"

"You accompany yourself, I am sure in the hotel there will be a huge mirror so stand in front and cheers to yourself."

"From where you got this kind of weird idea?"

"Well, when you are happy with yourself you can think all this."

"It's bored to drink alone"

"Then don't, come let's go"

"Do you drink?"

"Nope, I don't believe in the things that make me out of my control. I have tried when I was a small kid when my dad drinks so I will steal and drink a little, the worst is the black color one. Then I will feel the whole house is circling me and I will end landing on the bed or on the hall, later my dad will carry me and put me on his chest to sleep." I was so happy to tell him all this, how a happy child I was.

"Your eyes are sparkling when you talk about your dad and your childhood."

"Yes, the man I love the most in my life."

"And now?"

"And now what?"

"And now who you love the most?"

"Nobody"

"Are you sure?"

"Of course I am sure, I know about my heart", I heard Jay's sighing sound but I didn't turn and see him. I am not sure what kind of relationship we are in now may be just lust. Kissing and romancing each other. Fulfilling each other's physical needs. I don't want to think further. Let the time decide. We were on the way to my dad's place, I showed him his hotel which he has booked for a 2-nights stay. I told him he can pick me tomorrow and I will take him lunch. I told him we can try chicken rice with soup and cendol. We reached my dad's place nearly at 12 midnight, I told him no need to come to my house or else my dad will be asking a lot of questions. Jay's face frowned and he doesn't look happy at all. I told him I will introduce him tomorrow when he comes to pick me for lunch then only he relaxed. The moment I opened the main gate our dog Rosy started to bark once I called her name she gave a whining sound. I went to her and patted her head and went into the house.

"Why you reached so late?" My dad was the first person who asked me.

"It was a bit jam so delayed the journey and we had our supper as well. I bought your favorite dish red bean pau as well."

"Okay! Okay! Go, freshen up first, and put the luggage in your room." After settled down everything, I checked my WA got a few messages from the same guy. I smiled but didn't read it. I sat for a while beside my dad and chatted with him. After about 15 minutes I asked him to go to bed since it's late ready. Once my dad settled, I went and talk to my elder sister Kira. I told to Kira that I am coming back with a guy friend.

"Who is that guy?"

"Just a friend"

"Wow, just a friend bringing you back to the doorstep of your home?" WA text was coming in. Kira looked at me, smiled. "Go and sleep we talk tomorrow." I smiled and went to my room. I opened my WA, Jay sent me few messages.

"What your dad said about me?" That was the first message and I replied it "Duh... Does he know you in the first place?" I sent it with a thinking WA emoji.

After 5 minutes 2nd text was "Now you are not replying to me? yyyyyyyy?" I laughed until I got tears in my eyes. "Because I was chit-chatting with my dad and my elder sister".

After 5 minutes his 3rd message was "Avoiding? Ignoring?". Seriously this guy's brain got some problem.

My reply was "Yes avoiding and ignoring, what you can do?"

He read all my replies but he didn't reply anything. He must be pissed off at me but I didn't bother and texted him. "How is your room, are you comfortable?" He read it and didn't reply as well. "If you are not replying I am going to sleep Jay" and I waited for 5 minutes, it becomes a blue tick but no reply. "Good night" and I went to bed. I woke up around 9 am and my dad already bought one of my favorite breakfast nasi lemak. I freshen up and had my breakfast with a hot cup of coffee.

Received a WA text. "The moment I put my head on the pillow I doze off ready, seriously no idea. Just woke up, the room is nice. I am hungry where to eat, what time you want me to pick you?". I called the hotel and checked with them if there any food served at the hotel, they said got few stalls in front of the hotel to serve the customers. "Good morning, good to hear you slept well. At the main entrance got few stalls which you can buy breakfast. Eat little enough and pick me at 12, I am taking you to a food feast. I am sure you will enjoy it." I taught Jay's was very picky at food but last night he tried all the food for the first time and he enjoyed actually. he replied with an okay. I was chatting with my sister, my mom together with my 2nd sister, nieces and nephews went to my mom's elder sister's house in another town which about 2 hours journey plus it's a hill station. I told my sister no need to cook and informed her will pack food for them. Sharp 12 noon Jay came and I asked him to come to my house. I introduced him to dad and Kira. I briefly updated my dad about Jay and informed him I will pack chicken rice with soup for the lunch, he agreed. We went packed the food first for my dad and sent it back home and went again. At 1.30 pm we started our journey to try all the food. It's a big huge food street area, left-right are hawkers with varieties of food. I chose 10 different varieties of food for him to try, both of us don't take pork or beef.
