Jay's Love...

Episode 3: Familiar Faces

This guy Jay never told me that someone else is going to join us. While we were walking towards the shop I saw Vanda with her kids and another 2 guys sitting beside her. I was feeling what the hell man... okay woman, really felt one kind. Even Vanda didn't tell me about the dinner and I remembered immediately that she mentioned to me she is going to her parent's place. Jay didn't talk to me or I didn't ask anything while we were walking towards the table. I pretended cool and as though I am aware that we all are going to meet there for dinner. Vanda's kids screamed at me "Aunty Krishhhhhhhhhhh!!! and started to run towards me. I just waved my hand and signaled them to wait there. 2 square tables joined together so there were 2 empty spaces, I sat on the front and Jay walked inside and sat opposite me. Vanda suddenly asked me how come you are joining us, I shrugged my shoulders and said please ask your boss. I actually wanted to say "your handsome boss" but I don't want Jay to feel the "feeling over" and flirty. The waiter came took order my order and Jay orders. He ordered fried rice with no this, no that, less this, and less than except an egg. I thought you brainless guy why can't you just say rice with egg only, pity the waiter. I was thinking of 1 fried rice so much issue ha!! Achooo!! Vanda introduced me to the other 2 guys, 1 was Gordon whom skinny, fair, and the other is Anthony slightly plump, tan in color, and of average height for a man. Gordon is the finance head, Anthony is the marketing head and Jay is the operation head. Food arrived and we all had without any remarks. Jay didn't finish his food and mentioned it tastelessly. Duh!! What you expect when you don't want this and that!! Gordon actually leaving in the same apartment where I am staying. 

Vanda is going back to her parent's place so Jay drove us back. He left for his place after dropped us. Gordon was in a different block, after wished good night he walked off once I went to mine. In less than 5 minutes I already went to my place. After freshen up I landed my body on my super single bed. I was tossing left and right for a while and started to continue to read my book. About 10 minutes later I heard my WA making noise. I checked the time almost 11 pm. Who will be sending me a text at this time? I was so lazy to check that again got another message and another continuously came in. Okay, so many messages I taught maybe something important and checked my phone. The messages were from Jay and Vanda, I opened Jay's he texted "Sleeping" I replied "No". Then I opened Vanda's messages. She asked me how come I joined dinner suddenly. I replied the same Jay asked to go with him so I went. She replied why you have to follow him, you can ask me to pick you. I was like "what is her problem now" kind of reaction! I replied, firstly you have to ask Jay and secondly you told me that you are going to your parents' place how come suddenly you are at dinner. She replied said it suppose to be staff dinner. I was thinking oh since when all her kids started to work in her office. I replied okay fine and good night and end the chat with her.

Jay replied to me "You want to go to bed?" I didn't reply to him because was busy replying to Vanda and again he sent "Sleepy?" I replied to him "No. Why you invited me to your office staff dinner?" I am a very straightforward person so I shoot the question to him. "Who said staff dinner?" "Your staff Vanda" "Hahahaha she is jealous and her kids working in the office too?" "Why she is jealous of me?" "Because I took you for dinner and not her" "So what is happening in between you too?" "Nothing" I was blur.com again, what he means by nothing and since I was speechless I couldn't reply to him. He replied again "Don't think too much, have a nice sleep and good night." "Okay good night!". I am really really not happy with this reply. Hmmmmmm I sighed very long and thought both also can go to hell and continue to read my book. Since I am still off I plan to sleep late at night which I always love to do. After about half an hour suddenly I received a WA message again, I checked the phone Jay texted again "Sleep ready?" I was thinking what is the problem with this guy, I replied "Nope". 

"What are you doing?" "Reading novel" "Mystery or horror?" "No, romance" "Oh you like romance novels na?" "Yes" "What is the story about?" I stunned for a while and was thinking of what to reply to him. Then I replied, "Why don't you come here and I will read it for you." I didn't get a reply immediately even after he has seen my message. After that, I thought he would have sleep I received another text mentioning "I love too". What the @#$%#@%! Like this, I cannot read my book so I told him I am sleepy and said good night. He replied hmmmmmmmm okay good night.

I woke up around 9 plus and it was Saturday. The apartment is very quiet since Vanda and the gang is not around. After freshen up I send a text to Kelly. She was free and we were busy texting asking and updating what happen yesterday. I told Kelly about last night's incident, and she asked why she is so jealous about Jay taking you out for dinner. I already told Kelly about Jay when we went on holiday. I told Kelly seriously I have no idea and we changed the topic to food. She was telling me what she is going to prepare for lunch and I am thinking of packing something. Then my phone becomes silent and I started to read my novel again. I managed to finish 1 page I received a WA message. It was from Kathy, she is going out for lunch nearby my place with her hubby and kids so invited to join me. She will pick me around 12 noon so I have about an hour's time so I continued to read my novel. 

5 minutes before 12 noon I went down and waited at the apartment lobby, Kathy's husband Benny drove the car into the pick-up area and I sat behind. The kids all greeted me and continue chatting among them. Kathy asked me what you want to eat I said anything and Benny said let's go for Indian food, I recommended 1 shop which has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I order dhal kichadi a vegetarian dish which too good in this restaurant and Kathy with the gang ordered chicken and mutton biryani. While waiting for our food to arrive we were talking about our trip to Y city. We told the kids we all will go on one trip as a gang and bully aunty Kelly. We were laughing and chitchatting. I am very comfortable with Kathy's kids. Our food arrived and we having it. Kathy and Benny were sitting opposite the entrance of the restaurant so both of them can see who is coming in and out. Suddenly Kathy's face changed and she was staring at the door only and suddenly she holds my hand. She was staring at me suddenly and I ask what happen to you?
