Chapter 27 I’ve received thirty letters from Job White. Thirty. Surprisingly, the first one is the only one that addresses the subject of our relationship. The others vary in topic from his time overseas to things he’s doing as he continues to heal. I’m tempted to just let him keep writing simply to see how long he would do it before he marched up to my door and asked me if I was going to keep ignoring him. I have no doubt he would. But the fact of the matter is, I miss him. That is why I am currently driving the small, well-loved car that I was able to buy just yesterday to Job’s house.
