(JOY)        “THAT smells so good, already.” I inhaled, catching the scent of the fried rice Hosea was currently cooking in my apartment’s kitchen. “It’s been ages since I ate rice.”           He looked back at me and grinned. “I thought so. Good thing that grocery store was selling it. Just sit there and wait for me to finish, okay?”           I smiled and nodded. His attention went back to the fried rice, stirring it again and again.
