Chapter 29 Charlie called Squeaker and put her on speaker as they pulled into the airstrip. There was a dirt path that led to the private hangers. The gate was wide open so they drove straight through. “Is the airfield shut down?” “Yes, but no one fitting their description has been seen or a flight plane filed for a small aircraft.” “These aren’t the type of people that file a flight plane, but the plane is here somewhere.” Charlie had followed Catherine’s GPS from her phone to this location. So he knew she was here. “I’m picking up heat signatures at hanger three.” Squeaker had access to satellite imagery of the airfield and could read thermal imaging.
