Aysha was barely aware of Jordan walking her over to her bed and laying her down carefully. She carefully took out a pair of scissors, cut her shorts off, and removed the few leaves that remained.
“What the hell?” Jordan gasped as she looked at the wound on Aysha’s leg. Aysha could feel Jordan’s hands on her thigh examining the wound and heard her mutter something, but her consciousness was slipping away, so she did not hear what she said. She heard her stand up and fetch something, and suddenly a foul stench hit her nose as she opened her eyes and coughed.
“Don’t you fall asleep just yet,” Jordan said with a frown on her face.
“I’m awake,” Aysha coughed, “just get whatever that is out of my face.”
