Aysha woke up to the sound of someone knocking on her door. She grunted as she sat up, her head throbbing and her body stiff.
“Who is it?” she called to the person outside the door.

“You can come in,” Aysha sighed and rubbed her temples in an attempt to fix the headache.
A girl about her age entered the room holding a tray of food. She had pale skin, emerald eyes, and had long black hair that she kept in a braid. She was wearing the castles traditional maid uniform, straight black pants with a white tucked-in shirt.
“You didn’t come down for breakfast, so I thought you might be hungry,” she said with a smile and placed the tray on her desk.
“Thank you. What time is it?”
