The twin sister's tragedy

It's located in a small village to the south of Albator Empire City. Although we are the only six girls in this orphanage, that’s exactly why we became best friends. The people in this village are very independent and responsible, so there’s rarely anyone who abandons their child. The villagers don’t like us, though—they believe we’re a bad influence on their children. Because of that, we don’t get along with the other kids in the village. The people here don’t like us or even the head of the orphanage, but still, they provide us with food and clothes to keep the orphanage running. In the orphanage, there is Father and Lara who take care of us. No one knows who our mother or father is, but we all came to the orphanage at different times. First, it was Sara and Ani—those two were found in front of the orphanage on a beautiful, starry night. At first, Father Cronze thought they were twins, but they were not. Still, the two of them shared many similarities, especially their calm nature. After two months, Naru, Mou, and Lichi were found at the back of the orphanage. Lara discovered them while cleaning behind the building. These three children are the troublemakers. All three of them needed constant attention. Then, after five months, they found me—a newborn, just like the others. Father said I was a very peculiar child, always laughing. He also said that because I didn’t cry even once, they became worried and took me to a doctor, thinking I was sick. But the truth… is a secret. At the orphanage dinning table...... Ani: Sang what are you thinking. Sang : nothing let's eat or Lara will be mad. Mou: Lara, Sang and Ani are not eating. Lara: Sang, Ani why are you two not eating?is it not good? Sang: no no it's delicious. Ani: it's very good. Though it's only tomato soup, it's still sufficient for us—those of us who have no family. This happiness of being together just that much is enough. Where they will be the next night or where they were before the night .it seems very difficult but in reality it's very simple. None of the villages or Father and Lara knows that we have powers, yes magical powers. The magical powers which we can get from the natural energy it's called Eether. The type and strength of magic vary from person to person. Although it differs from one to another, we can't tell which type of magic we have until a certain age, which is 10. Now all of us are at the age of 9 so it's only a little amount of time before our magic type is revealed. Though we can't attack or try to defeat the monsters, we can locate where they are because of their magic. Yes, even monsters have magic in this world—you could say they have more magic than a single person, which makes them very difficult to defeat. Only mercenaries, the Empire's soldiers, or the wizards of the Magic Tower can take them down. Not everyone has magic, as not everyone possesses magical essence. Before the age of 10—when our magic type is revealed—our magic can only detect other magical beings. We can't defend ourselves or attack anyone with it, so many say it's useless to use or learn magic before that age. But in our case, it's different. It's useful, because it helps us locate the monsters that wander near our village from the forest. There were many times when the monsters came near the village, but before they could attack, we made a plan that has protected us all this time. There are certain plants that the monsters don't like, and we used those plants as a barrier around the village—without the villagers ever noticing. We obtained this information from the village library. Although we're not allowed to go there, we sneak in secretly at night. We've learned a lot from the library books. We’ve read about the wizards of the Magic Tower, the Empire's knights, and how weapons have an aura that is activated by the knights—or by the person wielding them. Magic can be used in many different ways. Some people become knights who channel their magic through weapons, releasing it as an aura. In the forest........ At the secret base of the little girls.................. Lichi : So what's the status ? Ani: What do you think? Sara: Hmmmmm..... Mou: l don't like this. Naru: It's difficult. what's wrong Sang why aren't you saying anything. Sang: l am thinking........... Sara: There are more and more monsters gathering at the back of the village. Mou: I don't think the plants we planted 3 years ago will last very long. Nara: I know, but other than planting the Androcunness plants—which are hated and disliked by the monsters, especially the snake types—we can’t do anything else. Someone A : Didn't you see the light over that tree just now?" Someone B: What are you saying? Who would come into the forest in the middle of the night knowing how dangerous it is? It must be your imagination. Someone C: Hey, you guys, stop chatting and focus on pulling out those annoying trees. We don’t want the great wizard getting angry. Naru: What trees are they talking about? Sang: I don't know but did you guys notice something. Sara: Yeah they all have Eether energy. Lichi: That means they are either the Empire knights, the mercenaries or the wizards of the magic tower. Mou: They don't look like the Empire nights but they also don't look like the wizards because they have a logo on their cape. Ani: That only means one thing they are mercenaries. Sang: Yeah that's the only conclusion we can come to right now. Lichi: Hm but what are they doing here and what trees are they talking about. Sara & Naru : Look!! (Everybody sees that they are trying to pull out the trees the girls planted three years ago.) Sara: They're pulling out the trees. But why? Lichi: Same question here, why? Naru: Lichiiiii... Lichi: What? I was just— (guilty look at Naru) —trying— Ani: Guys, be quiet. Lichi & Naru: Sorry. Mou: Hey, does anyone have any guesses as to why they want to pull out those trees, which are obviously protecting the village? Sang: I have one. Ani: What? Sang: Did you hear what they said just now? Ani: Yeah, they mentioned the great wizard. Lichi: Ha! When did they mention him? Sang, Ani, Sara, Mou, Naru: ??????
