The next day I heard back from Elizabeth. The site was still available and they were willing to sign a lease with me, putting the property on hold since they knew I was interested in both the store and the apartment.
But they couldn’t release it until a month after I needed to be in.
I spent the week trying to figure out what I was going to do, but signed the lease because I knew it was the perfect place for me.
Even if I had to shut down for a month.
When I talked to Lexi about it she suggested I request an extension on my current lease so I could move straight from one to the other. I called the new owner’s office and was lucky they didn’t laugh at me.
